Thankyou so much for lovely posts Shelley and Yve, like Amanda said I don't think I could cope without the support on here. My family are fantastic with me but unless you've been through it I don't think you can fully understand. Iv had a bad day today food wise. Iv had a banana and a slice of ham. Not good i know but pre-op I would have stuffed my face if I felt down but now I just can't seem to eat, don't know which is worse. Tomorrow is a new day and I will start again. Thankyou once again for all of you're replys as it really does help ALOT! Xxxxx

Massive difference indeed Amanda, you look like a different person already! Lots slimmer and so much more confident. I know it's hard to see on your self but honestly you look so different in a very positive way :)

Menu plans for today -

Breakfast - Ham, poached egg and a mushroom. 30g ham.
Lunch - Left over chicken and veg casserole. 40g chicken.
Dinner - a portion of rf lamb escalope with sugar snap peas. 45g lamb.
Snack - Plum

I don't usually write my fluid intake but it is usually the same everyday. I drink a 1.5 bottle of water through out the day and have around 4-5 cups of decaff tea with unsweetened soya drink fortified with extra vitamins and calcium. I occasionally have a 100ml of fresh OJ with water too.

Really am going to keep a positive attitude and stop feeling sorry for myself...
Think my menu today is a bit more balanced hopefully. Tried to get some fresh fruit and veggies in

B 7 strawberries & 100mls milk
L 100gms healthy living lamb escallope & garden peas
D 3 crackerbreads topped with red salmon & cucumber
S 25gm Fridge raiders
S Fresh Peach

Protein 94gms - Calories 580 - Carbs 32 - Fat 15gms
Drinks - 1.5 litres NAS Squash - 500mls water - 2 cups green tea - 1 cup black coffee & 500ml 40gm protein water

Yay, that's it Amanda, fab menu and fab attitude :D I'm feel so much better too now I've put the scales away. Can't wait for my gym induction tomorrow :) Exciting xx
 
Started purée stage today I'm so excited !

B - 1/2 a weetabix and milk.
L - puréed chicken dinner (about a ramekin full)
T - same as above
S - fruit smoothie.

Does this sound ok ?
 
Sounds perfect and must be so yummy after being stuck on liquids :) x

How did you find the pureed foods paula? Did you manage okay? It must have been wonderful to have something to eat after all those liquids xxx
 
Fab menue Amanda, totally agree no more negativity and defo put scales away, I only ever get weighed once a week and Iv stuck to that right from the start ( easiest thing to stick too lol) you'll have a great time at the gym tomorrow Shelley I think I'll go back its just when you're at work all day you can't be arsed to go but now Iv lost weight hopefully it will give me more incentive.

B skimmed milk
Lunch roast beef, Brocolli, swede,carrots, tiny bit of mash, small Yorkshire pud
D probs ham or LF homous with crisp bread
S probs strawberries
Started with my fluids again today as I have been lacking in that dept also!!!!
 
It was delicious Amanda. I have plenty left over in the fridge to last me a few days. It was slow cooked chicken, mash, carrot, French beans, broccoli, sugar snap peas, baby sweetcorn and gravy.

I managed about a ramekin full and that was just enough :)
 
It's great going on the puréed stage Paula, not be long before mash then eating normally. How did you manage? Xxxx
 
Lost just a pound this week.

Breakfast - two slices Parma ham
Lunch - slow cooked lamb, mash, fine beans
Dinner - half a pasta mug shot

Snack - treat size white choc buttons, packet wotsit waffles (75 cal a pack)

Had a couple of treats today had an incredibly lazy Sunday after cooking dinner for a few friends last night. No more treats as in six months I have to wear a bikini with confidence! Elijah is taking me to properly start me on weights to tone and I'm introducing a protein shake on the days I lift to help build muscle.

Back to eating clean this week taken a lovely bit if salmon out that elijah bought me (he very randomly went to the local fish market and bought me haddock, mussels, clams, salmon and prawns!)

HI all had my jaun to Blackpool, food not brill but certainly didn't over eat, drunk alcohol but not loads drank steadily and the best I could had a fab time just what I needed fter the dreadful week I have had.

Yesterday
B MSSBB toasted with spread
L 1 Chicken bun only ate 1/2 bun, 1 pk ww crisps
D 4 Cchicken strips 3 chips
S 3 chips n tiny bit of fish

Tea, water, alcohol

Today
B 1 Egg,1small bit bacon, 1 small piece black pudding, 1/2 tomato,5 mushrooms, 1 slice of toast, big meal for me that.
L 1 wrap with chicken small bit mayo
s 1 plum
d 1 breaded fish piece, oven cooked, 1 banana

tea water
 
Glad you had a good time in Blackpool I havnt been there for years. Keep you're chin up next week at work Hun and just remember the most important things in life!!! Xxx
 
Thanks Dimond, think I am getting there, but have another meeting today 10 am. fingers x all will go well. xx Hoping to get some people together for a meet up at Darlington for coffee n chat 3rd November 11am at Nero's next to the Dolphin Center has disabled access so makes it possible for our less mobile members to be able to come along and join in. xx
