Shrinking For Sophie
Rose I'm with you a hundred percent. My job was shift work with every 3rd night a 24hour "sleepover". I would go on holidays with disabled clients several times a year for a few weeks at a time. I would break my heart on leaving my husbnd & young family behind every time these tips came round and it never got easier. I was earning very good money and nowvway could we have survived on hubbies wage alone. Their daddy was the stable parent in that he worked normal hours too and with both sets of our parents only a stone throws from our door we were fortunate. Every bus mans holiday I went on was either seen as a great opportunity to travel for free by others?? Errr no I don't think so.... Or I was seen as the terrible parent and was asked on more than one occasion how I could leave my kids behind to go on holiday?? ... Errr no I'm actually working Arrrgghh
I loved my job but I also love my family too so in order to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table I made the choices idid with a clear conscience! ... Go for it girl
Apologies for any typos .. I've lost my specs lol
