Daily Sleeve Food Diaries - please add yours!

8 weeks post op

B - 1 sachet Oats so simple + 180ml ss milk
S - 20g homemade beef jerky
L - 75g pizzaiola chicken breast
S - 30g crackers (first time post op)
D - 60g deli style roasted chicken breast

2000ml water
 
Weekend away so regular eating wasn't on the agenda!

Saturday:
B: 1/2 a mango

S: 2-finger Kit-Kat

L: 1/2 cheese toastie

D: Sushi restaurant- edamame beans, 2 bits of sushi and a tiny bit of chicken katsu curry

S: A gin and cranberry juice and a handful of Pringles (sorry!)

Loads of tea and water all day


Sunday:

B: breakfast in hotel- scrambled egg, 1/2 a sausage, 1 tbsp beans 1/2 slice of toast

L: 6 chips

D: Honey mustard chicken with mash

S: mini cookies

Tea, water, NAS orange squash


Will be better on Monday!!

Life's about living honey, that's the point of getting this surgery. 1 bad weekend (and it wasn't that bad) isn't gonna do any harm. Hope you had fun x

Thanks Hun, I go on and on about how I refuse to deny myself anything, then when I do I feel guilty! Lol we had a great time thanks! Xx
 
Much better day today:

B: fruit salad made with nectarine, kiwi, pear and melon

S: handful of mixed seeds and wasabi peas

L: couscous, pomegranate seeds, mixed seeds and rocket

S: 2 rice cakes

D: 2 fish fingers, spaghetti hoops and 2 mini waffles

S: muller rice custard flavour

Tea, water and NAS orange juice throughout the day.
 
Today

B: scrambled egg in a whole meal pitta pocket

L: ham salad roll

D: chicken, veg and sweet corn

Snacks: nectarine, quavers, granola bar

Loads if tea and 1.5lt water
 
B: 50g of Granola &150ml of SS milk
S: MyProtein shake made with water
L: 2 slices of wholemeal nimble, 50g peas pudding, 2 slices of chicken and 1 slice of Jarlsberg cheese
D: 250g Chilli Con Carne with Rice

2 litres of NAS Squash made with water
 
Today:

B: 1 nectarine

L: 1 slice granary toast with tuna and melted cheddar cheese on top.

D: ( it will be) Tortellini with pesto

S: 1 baby bel cheese. 1 nectarine, grapes and if I have room 1 muller rice apple flavour.

Only 2 cups if tea today :eek: and 2lt water
 
Tell me about it! It's ok, I am making up for it now! By the time I go to bed I am sure I can get 8 more cups of tea in me! Lol xx
 
Working today....not good eating today (slapped wrist!)

B: 1 potato scone grilled

L: 1/2 toasted tortilla wrap with ham and cheese

D: 2 chicken drumsticks

S: 1 nectarine, 1 Babybel, handful of tortilla chips.

Drinks: 1 glass NAS orange juice, 1 mug of tea.......that's it! No wonder I have a stinking headache! I'm going to bed with a 2lt bottle of water now....I know how to live! Lol ;)
 
Here goes ;)

1 Marks & Spencers Sushi 5 pieces for a quid :)
An Apple

Too hot to cook this evening so ate nibbles!
4 cream crackers with cream cheese
1 low fat baby bel
1 fish ball
2 spinach, chickpea and pinenut bites

Another Apple

Drinks
2 pints of sugar free Vimto
2 mugs of coffee made with semi skimmed milk
1 pint of water

Not sure if I am drinking enough? Need to try hard :(
 
Today:

B: scrambled egg and some mushrooms

L: 1 nectarine, 1 Babybel cheese.

D: Warbuton's thin, sliced ham, raw spinach and mixed seeds

Snacks: 1 nectarine (I'm obsessed!), 1 mini GU mango mousse.

Drinks: tea until it is coming out of my ears, 500ml water and 3 gulps of a diet coke.....it was yuck! Lol

Big treat met a friend at the Harvester. Chicken Fillet, Baked Potatoe, Salad.

2pints of Sugar Free Vimto
2 Milky Coffee
1Glass of Pomegranet & Elderflower 67 (Harvester)

Still not drinking enough!

Yeah it is difficult to get the fluid in you need. I've noticed since the warm whether, that peeing is less frequent even when going over the recommended daily intake
 
Today:

B: 1 boiled egg and 2 cracker bread.

L: 1 slice granary bread with ham, spinach and seeds

D: 2 homemade meatballs with 2 tbsp pasta

S: nectarines, muller rice

Drinks: NAS orange squash, 1 glass skimmed milk, tea, tea and more tea!
 
Today:

B: none

L: roll with ham, spinach and mixed seeds

D: spinach salad with tuna

S: quavers

Drinks: 2lt water and loads of tea :)
 
Well after the gout last week I now have a stinking cold :(

Porridge for breaky! Habit now :)

Pasta for lunch in tomatoe sauce and a chopped up babybel

Chicken Fajitas for my evening meal

Drank loads today, colds make me thirsty

2 milky coffee
4 pints of Vimto
1 pint of water now peeing for Britain ;)

D: kedgeree with a poached egg and salad

S: banana
