Gastric Bypass Daily Menus

My portion sizes are actually very small, so what I had for dinner was not a lot, for some reason food sometimes gets stuck, it usually happens r
3 or 4 times. Week, but only one week of the month (usually jusyt before my TOM)

The snacking, well usually its nothing like that! The crisps only came to 100 cal and 10 carbs, but were still a nono - not something I plan to repeat.


I wonder if maybe I just didn't eat enough at my meals, hence the snacking :s


Thanks for the snack suggestions, I will give those a bash... Is snacking on fruit ok?

Well I had a brilliant beginning of the day
B - 1 piece of wholemeal toast with peanut butter
D - protein flapjack
T - Home-made beef stew with added cous-cous
Snacks....hmmm not good...at all...300cals worth of crisps! Its ok though as I have decided to plan ahead for tomorrow and get me head screwed on! Onwards and upwards!

Tomorrow I have planned a new protein shake I bought today (cappuccino flavour) with a protein flap jack
Chicken liver salad and my mum is taking me and fiancee out for tea.
Hopes I do well. Have a packet of twigletts if I wish to snack!

well today i had
B = weight watchers desert yoghurt and half a nectarine

d = ham, lowfat cheese, salad. the other half nectarine

t = roast pork, potatoes, lots of veg, cauliflower,carrots,greenbeans,butternut sqaush.

s = low fat cheese spread, half tin veg soup
 
b staffordshire oat cake 1oz cheese 3 mushrooms
l 1oz mixed nuts banana mini bagette
d prawn and pasta salad mango
s spendip sweet chilli
trying to increase my carbs a littlr as i have now hit my origanal target and just want to see what effect it has on me.
 
Much better today!

B; muller light and 100g mango
L; goulash and cabbage
D; nimble brown toast, poached egg, 2 wafer thin ham and a babybel light.

Snacks; one spoon OH musli.


500 cals burned on xtrainer.

Anyone know if cerial is okay post bypass? Tis high in carbs.

Also no weight loss now for 2 weeks, infact I've put on a lb! I know I had a rough day yesterday, but my eating had been normal for the past 2 weeks!

Snacks - protein shake

Had a terrible tummy day, had to really fight to get the food in at all and then I had an upset digestive system all day long!! Hrrmpp...
 
Right okay am fed up know no weight loss for three weeks and only 5 pounds lost the three weeks before that what am i doing wrong?

Today had
b = weight watchers yoghurt and low fat cheese, half a nectarine
d = half small tin vegetable soup, 2 low fat cheese triangles, half nectarine.
T = weight watchers hot pot meal.
S = half small tin sausage and bean

b - Half a protein bar, cappuchino protein shake
d - salad and 1 piece of chicken liver....dont ask lol
t - chicken, 2 roast pots, sprouts, stuffing and cauliflower
s - pack of twiglets, banana, grapes
 
B = 30 grm cinaman grahams and a plum

D = slice ham, low fat cheese, lettuce,spring onion,tomatoe,beetroot and a plum

T = small chicken breast, mashed pot, leeks,sqaush,carrots,onion.

S = weightwatchers yoghurt, 2 low fat cheese triangles.

Muller light + 1/3 orange
Mince in stock 100g + 20g sweet potato + 30g cabbage + bite of OH y.pud
1 slice nimble toast + low fat philly + 2 wafer thin ham

Snacks:
1 crackerbread + philly
1 spoon musli

300 cals burned on xtrainer


Weds:

30g no sugar musli with 100ml semi skimmed
Mince in stock with 1/2 nimble bread and red cabbage
Home made chilli 100g + 2 teaspoons wild rice + salad of leafs, 2 cherry toms and cuecumber.

Snacks:
Few bites of home made naan bread
2 sllices of wafer thin ham and philly

200 cals burned on xtrainer


Also my weight loss has started again :)
Dropped 3 lbs in 3 days, guess the exercise work.

Plus I keep a food journal, I looked back and saw I was often only having 2 meals and a snack a day! Bad becca.
So I guess 3 meals really helps. ( The week of my biggest loss I had 3 meals and atleast 1 snack... This was about 4 weeks a go heh)
 
B milky coffee 2 slices bacon 1 slice wm bread
L 2 oz prawns 1oz brie 2 ryvita
D pork, mashed pots, carrots, broccoli gravy apple sauce
s banana, natural yog nuts
 
B - protein shake, phily light with bread sticks
D - sushi
T - strip of mackrel and 4 chicken wings
2 packs of twiglets (those damned things!! haha) strip of beef jerky
 
Today:
Musli and milk
Home made lamb curry + 1/2 spoon brown rice + 1 bite home made naan
Mince in stock with mixed veg.

Snacks:
Weight watchers choc wafer and a spoon of low fat philly.

Burned 100 cal... Not feeling too well today :(
 
Just out of interest, how much chicken or other meat can you eat in 1 go?
Tonight I managed 100g of chicken (it was in sauce) and I feel that's quite a lot for my wee pouch!

Musli
Chicken (100g) in low fat sauce, cabbage, carrot and 1/2 small boiled spud
2/3 nimble toast with poached egg (gave 1/2 of the yolk to OH) 1 mushroom and 30g philly light

Snacks:
Mini babybel light

200 cals burned on xtrainer
 
Yesterday -
B - a large handful of almonds and 2 lattes
D - chicken and large salad
T - green thai chicken curry (AMAZING!!)
Snacks - A chip and a teeny bite of fellas sausage (eeew that sounds sooo sordid! hahahahhaha)

As for how much meat in one sitting...I can eat way more than 100grams at the mo, which is not good!
 
brekkie: alpen and semi-skimmed milk

lunch: pate, cucumber and tomato

dinner: 6inch tortilla pizza with cheese/onion and pineapple, i ate the lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i could only eat half a chicken breast but i would have a few potatoes and gravy with it.
