saying goodbye to my fat
Hi Lisa, I hope you don't mind me saying this, but I think you have done fantasticly well. It really can't be easy coping with a loved one in hospital, and if your recognising that you are turning to food as a comfort it is brilliant progress! Your bypass can only help you to a certain point, and the fact that your trying to understand the reasons that are driving you to eat certain foods is an achievment in itself. I know feeling proud of yourself can't come easy with what your going through, and I am in no way trying to say that I understand what's going on emotionally, as noone but you can fully know that; but I can only hope that you can feel some sense of achievement in how you are recogising this behaviour and are dealing with it, because as I said before, you are doing fantastically well!
Saying that, I didn't do too well food wise myself today.

1200 Snack: Melon [20], 2 Cheese Slices [70]
1430 Lunch: 'Tidgy' Toad in the Hole [125], 2 tbsp Mash [100]
1800 Dinner: KFC (9 Chips [75], 6 Popcorn Chickens [100], 2 bites of BBQ Boxmaster [100])
2000 Snack: Left over BBQ Boxmaster(about 1/4) [200]
«Won't be going to KFC again! I walked in there and wanted to eat everything... But when I actually tried it, it tasted foul! Silly bypass made KFC taste nasty :-( »

BTW, I absolutly LOVE those WW Lemon Chicken Risotto! I know there is a lot of rice with it, but it is a real treat for me!
