Hi anyone been on milk diet n lost 5% really quickly n sneaked in for an op due to a cancellation ? I'm on day four n through my withdrawal. I've lost a stone In almost four days. I know its not real weightloss as water n rubbish, but if I carry on this month I may be able to sneak a cancellation if some poor soul has to cancel. Here's hoping. I'm on the blower tomo to the hospital to discuss . Oooo how exciting 
Went shopping with the family today n went into greggs! I had a milky coffee n the rest scoffed. I was soooo proud that I didn't have the urge to grab a bun n do a runner. The only thing I've had that I shouldn't have had in three days was one naked prawn! Don't think that will blow it, but won't again.

Hi all, sorry I've been a bit quiet recently, I feel like I've missed out on all your good news!
I still feel dreadful.....had a fever since the 2nd, now I can't swallow and my ears/teeth are on fire. Going to A&E this morning as so dehydrated now. I should have gone 3/4 days ago, but I'm used to self medicating and working through any illness I get.
I've realised post-op, I can't do this. I've got no reserves, my immunity seems very low and my body just can't seem to fight it off.
Promise to myself: seek medical advice as soon as I feel unwell in future. Feeling defeated and deflated.

(((((Hugs))))) hun. It's so easy to forget just how much we are putting our bodies through with not only the major surgery but the restricted diet before and after. If we don't watch out it kind of sneaks up on you and gives us a beating. I wasn't expecting it either Ceecie and am still trying to get back from hitting rock bottom.It takes time and patience. Hope you start feeling better soon hun xxx

Thank you ladies. Feeling very sorry for myself. I know I've been morbidly/super obese....but I've never actually been ill. I've always felt my immunity/bloods were really good. I don't like this feeling at all. I feel like I've messed with my natural strength......does that make sense??!! X

Yes it does hun. Even though I suffered ill health before my op I was always "Strong" whereas now I feel fragile and breakable.
