I'm hoping for a total of 4 stone loss as of tomorrow! I've been doing really good the last couple of days. Been tracking my food intake and seriously been tracking my exercise. I'm now on MyFitnessPal is anyone else is. :) Though doing that has now made me curious... have any of you tracked your food intake (as in calorie counted)? Yesterday I only had 741 calories, but I didn't feel hungry at all and I ate how I think I 'normally' do... today I'm so far up to 550, but there won't be too much more so I'll probably be about where I was yesterday. Though exercise-wise I burned 787 calories (plus whatever is normally burned just doing every day activities) so that leaves -46 calories for yesterday and today so far I've burned 828. Even if I eat as much as I did yesterday that's still almost -100 calories for today. I must admit, I don't quite understand what this means... MFP tells me that if I continue eating/exercising this way I will weigh 177 lbs in 5 weeks. LOL I'm just really confused about calorie counting. Maybe I should stop looking at it? I just want to keep track of what I'm eating so that if I have a really good loss week I can remember what types of foods it was that helped me to do that. Anyone have any ideas? Hope all is well and you're all having nice weekends! :)
 
I log via myfitnesspal i've managed to get my cals up to roughly 1000 some days 800 - 900 but am eating snack during the day to maintain that cal intake........... back a couple of weeks ago i was just doing 3 meals and barely reaching 600 cals, which i know is not maintainable so have indulged in snacks and increased the intake............... i also use my fitbit which logs my output too but i never get to the amount of calories they suggest based on my output lol I believe i read somewhere on fitbit that in order to loose 2lb a week you need to be -1000 cals a day !!!

I'm not sure how you sleevers work..............do you still get the earge to eat ? of course i'm band...... and still without a fill, so am pretty much doing this for my self at mo......... i like to stick to 1000 cals a day max in order to get my losses ....... eating protein is good and less carbs :) if you eat carbs and don't burn them off that day the liver stores it......... but with all your activity's you must be burning them off easy........
According to myfitnesspal it says 1200 cals a day any lowers put me into starvation mode, but so far (except 1 stall week) am still loosing ok............. so all the while its shifting still not going to worry too much :)

Fingers crossed for your 4 stones Jenna .............. im right behind you and am doing my best to get -4lb this week for my 4 stones too LOL (trying not to tempt fate lol) mind you with TOM visiting it may have to wait another weeK!!!

Ps my puppy just gotten over her first season :) so will be spayed in a couple of months ....bless, but i have to say she has quietened right down since !! she seems to have grown up lol and is very independent now ........ thankfully x x x
 
I don;t use it hun for that exact reason...I don't want to get obsessed about calories. I already have to think about nutrition enough, I don't want to be worried about that too. Try not to obsess over it, it won't do you any good. Your losses are going so well, are you concerned about something? I'd just carry on with what you're doing, it obviously works :D x
 
I agree Pip :) Unfortunately for me with the band as it is right now.... its something i have to do................ my friend who was bypassed has no desire to eat so its not a problem ............ but if its not broke don't try and fix it :) x x x

You can add me to MFP if you'd like - JennaMeri625 I don't typically feel hunger now... except the last couple of days but I think it's because of all the exercise I've been doing. I'm quite worried about my protein and iron intake, but I can't have chicken anymore and mince just tastes way too fatty and leaves a gross taste in my mouth (even the super lean stuff). Guess it's spinach salads for me. :p Here's to a 4 lb loss for you this week! Let's lose those 4 stone! :D

I cut my finger the other day and it bled for almost a half hour and ran like water... I'm a bit concerned about my protein and iron. I've also been getting bruises really easily and they're not healing. :(
 
Okay, holy-goodness... I was in NO way expecting this so I literally weighed myself FIVE times this morning just to make sure the first four times weren't flukes. 197.6 LBS!! I'm seriously dumbfounded. I was hoping for a 2 lb loss to reach my 4 stone gone. I'm so confused that I'm not even as excited as I should be about this. I just can't believe it. 200 lbs has been my mental goal since forever... now what do I do? lol Seems a silly question, but while I'm so ecstatic about reaching it, I now don't know what to reach for next... does this even make sense?! Wow. This is the most confusing weigh day I've had yet. Help?

Thanks! Just trying to wrap my head around it. I'm sure come tomorrow I'll be giddy as anything. I just can't yet believe it. lol ;)
 
Lol sometimes it is hard to believe in our achievements as they have been unattainable for such a long time

:( Definitely starting to think last weigh-in was a fluke. Gained 10 lbs from morning weigh-in to the afternoon (only weighed myself in the afternoon 'cause EVERYONE I talked to said it was a fluke weigh-in) and haven't gone down much since that. :(:(:( Hubby said not to be disappointed if I've gained on Sunday, but how could I not be? To have bypassed a goal I've had for YEARS and then have it taken away again, even by a fluke experience, is devastating. I've been working the last three days, so not much exercise has gone on (except the 25 mins of T25 in the mornings). Going to work on that tomorrow and Saturday and see what happens on Sunday. Whatever it is, I'll deal with it, I just might be a tad upset for a minute. Hope everyone else is well! :)
 
It will be annoying, for sure!!! BUT it won't be the end of the world, it'll just mean your goal will be postponed by 1or2 weeks. And in the grand scheme it won't matter...but I do know how frustrating it'll be. Don't worry about it until it happens, and IF it does, come straight to us for words of support lady!! That's an order ;) x
 
I'll def keep you posted... unofficial weigh-in tomorrow for T25. They call it STATurday. So weigh-in and measurements. We'll see what happens!

Alright, so it's STATurday! lol Weigh-in and measurements completed, and I can look at it in one of two ways. I can either think that I've gained 3.8lbs OR I can 'forget' about last Sunday and think that in two weeks I have lost 5.5lbs. Though today isn't my official weigh-in, so who knows what'll happen tomorrow morning. :) In the measurement department, I've lost 3.25 inches overall. :) Not bad for only a week.
