JennaMeri's Sleeve Journey

Theres that theory again if you dont lose the pounds you are still losing inches you go girl doing fab

Alright, so it's officially weigh-day! And I've gained 3.2 lbs from last week. Not as upset as I would have been at the beginning of the week, especially since I'm not SOOO close to actually achieving my goal. I weighed in at 200.8 lbs this morning. All I need to do is lose 0.9 lbs this week and I will HONESTLY be under 200, never (EVER) to see it again. :D I have no idea what was going on last week, and I really don't want to think about it anymore, so I never will know. It's done, the week has passed and all there is to do is move forward with a positive attitude. :) Hope everyone else is well. 10K in London on Wednesday... damn tube strike is making it a lot more difficult to get there. Anyone know the easiest route to get from Kings Cross to Tower of London without using the Tube or buses... preferably not a taxi either, no monies. I'll be walking, but the easiest path to get there? Anyone? lol Best!

sorry cant help with the london thing but wanted to wish you all the best

I can't help with the london thing either i'm afraid!!

Whoooooo 5.5lbs in 2 weeks is ace! You are zooming towards your goal and I honestly can't tell you enough how envious of you I am with all of this exercise you're doing. You are an absolute inspiration to those who read this diary so don't you dare dwell on last week.

That's you told. Well done chick and I will be eagerly awaiting news from the 10k!!! Good luck xxx

Whop Whop Jenna hun That's blooming amazing :) just forget the rest and move on look forwards to the 10K omg girlie you are some kind of superwoman :) i wish you all the very best.........sorry can't help re London either x x x x

Well, I've done a bit of research, and since I don't want to rely on the Tube system (stupid people's inability to communicate appropriately!) I will be walking from London Euston station to Tower of London. It's an hour walk. So I'll be walking for an hour (through London, on my own... last time I did this I got mugged at knife-point and had my identity stolen), running a 10K and then walking an hour back to the train station so I can get home. On top of that, Hubby has now said he won't be going with me as he 'gets grumpy' walking through London. I'm tempted to tell him tough and he WILL be going... but I probably won't 'cause then when he DOES get grumpy it will be my fault for 'making him' go. *rolls eyes* Relationships are stupid. So basically I will be dead tired by the end of Wednesday... emotionally and physically since BEFORE all of that I have an appointment with the fertility clinic. lol Plus side of that is the consultant said when I left my first appointment that if I didn't lose a significant amount of weight before my next visit, they wouldn't be able to help me. I think almost 60 lbs (4st 4lbs) loss is significant, don't you? :p lol Anyway, should probably go decide if I'm going to fight this battle with Hubby or not. Might need some telepathic motivational Woman Power vibes sent. ;)

I promise, it's already out of my head! :) I'll text you after I finish the 10K... I might need the communication if Hubby decides he's definitely NOT going. I'm seriously going to freak out walking on my own... might have to run that too. Use it as my warm up. lol :p

your one brave woman i wont walk northampton on my own never mind london take the hubby and make him suffer then do what i do block the moaning out lol

Yeah hun I'm worried about you doing all that walking by yourself, are you sure there isn't another way? London is scary, I go to visit my brother and let me just say this...I'm always ready to leave and I keep my bag clutched so tight to me the whole visit haha.

I'll have my phone on me at work love, so you text or call anytime xx

I think you should bite the bullet & get a taxi hun....I'd hazard a guess that you can cab share & halve bill etc...I walk London regularly & safety issue is no different from any place, but from fatigue point of view, no good, you could be exhausted etc...think you need to be realistic about it chick xxx

hi jenna not sure if you seen but the tube strike is off in london ??? hope you can now choose a safer option than all that walking

I just heard that in the car actually... thanks! :D Hubby has NO excuse not to come along now! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!! lol

Excellent!! Much better x

I almost bought a Monsoon dress today! I love pretty much everything in that shop! But then I didn't 'cause I don't have many occasions to wear dresses. :(

Eeek Jenna was getting worried there at the thought of you walking alone around London ........... So thank goodness the strike is off Phewwwww x x x

I used to work at Monsoon...75% discount baby...plus a uniform allowance. Oh how I miss those days. If I were ever to return to retail, Monsoon would be number one choice hands down. To have an occasion, you need to make an occasion. Have a date night, or find a charity ball that's going on and buy tickets for you and hubby, or you and a friend? I go to a charity ball every other year (it's biannual) with the same big group of people and it's always a blast! And I have another one in June, that my friend's boss is hosting...theme is Glitz and Glam haha...should be interesting.

Did you get anything good/nice? What about that coral dress and denim jacket? X

Hubby doesn't like events. He's afraid of crowds in confined spaces. Even had to cancel our wedding dinner that I'd planned with only about 10 other people cause he couldn't do it. I'd love going though! I don't have friends (that I can actually do things with), so unless it's a family affair I don't have many occasions. I just ended up getting a new pair of jeans and two work bottoms... plus two spanx type things! :)

Got to love the spanx!! Sounds like a success then, what kind of jeans did you go for and what size more importantly?? Hehe, I'll tell you what next summer when the ball is on, I'm going to invite you lol, it's usually about £75 per ticket but it's a fab night, you can come stay with me :) how does that sound? x

lol... That would be amazing! :D
As for the jeans, I got everything in a comfy tight 16 (want them to last for a bit) from BHS... but not all sizing is the same apparently cause 16s at M&S only fit in the jeans not work stuffs and the opposite happened at Debenham. So I just got everything from BHS. ;)
