I've now lost almost 12kg in the last four weeks. I wonder how much is loss of water in the body but this is a pre-op requirement to soften/shrink the liver and harden fat around the body to reduce risk during surgery. Six days to go...

Well done Marcus, that's good going, I am day 4 of milk diet again my op is 11 days away oooww have only just thought of it like that!!

Yay go you. I have lost 10kg since pre op diet started and another 3kg the 2 weeks before that

Ok guys,

Mine is quickly approaching and I haven't even thought about packing a hospital bag. What did everyone take and actually use? So far my list includes -

- PJ's
- flip flops
- toothbrush and paste
- shower gel
-dry shampoo
-iPad
-headphones

I took night clothes slippers wash stuff towels dressing gown dry mouth spray clean clothes phone kindle ipad charger didn't use towels they was supplied where I went the mouth spray is and was the most important for me

Underwear is possible cotton and an older pair for op day as they get stained with iodine
