Haha Soohoo that made me laugh it's great to know I wasent the only one to have my belly stuck under the steering wheel I've had my tyres and tracking sorted a lot too and hubby couldn't understand why lol never thought of my belly,the feelings great isn't it these little things are all adding up to make such big changes for us all.xx

morning all you marchers hope you are all ok.well Tinkerbelle.im still chuckling.you see I never owned up to the tracking and new tyres my husband thought we were been sabotaged.he was convinced.so I think I should own up now.im still laughing to myself.his face when I tell him.ha ha.how are you doing this morning.i am not too bad today.havnt seem to been going to loo as much during night.you all take care soohoo

That's funny soohoo. Well you'll be saving money now on getting the car done again lol. Anyone been in yet? Have I missed anything? Been so busy at work. I'm day 8 on 3 week preop and down 9lbs. Very happy . Good luck everyone x

Hi Everyone, I'm day 5 down 8lb whoooooo not feeling it today milk diet mixed with abit of cold and the dreaded monthly visit oh how I'm blessed!!! other half is contemplating moving out for a few days ha ha ha xx

GUTTED due to have op 21st March, just had a phone call hospital have cancelled it. AFTER having pre op blood test etc, they`ve decided there are people on the list who have been waiting longer than me. So why call me in the first place. Everything was in place for my husband to have time off with me to look after me. SO ANGRY

Hi Soohoo,lol I can't imagine your hubby's face when you tell him.im chuckling here thinking shall I confess to my hubby hmmm naaaa I think I won't lol.the money I save on the tracking and tyres can go in " my new clothes " savings tin for after my bypass lol.day 8 of pre op diet I think I might weigh myself today.how are you doing today?xx

Omg Lorraine that's terrible,I have my pre op Monday and bypass 21st I'd be so unhappy if it got cancelled.i can't imagine how you must be feeling right now.fingers crossed you get a new date very very soon.x

Girls update my op is defo cancelled.i am gutted I won't be going on the journey at the same time. I will however be with you in spirit and will continue on my liver shrinkage diet as it is shifting those pounds at a fast pace. Do keep in touch and I will be watching your journey with pride xx I still want to meet up and share shakes post op .. Lol

Kings College, still can`t believe it. Everything was sorted. Ok so there were people on the list before me. But it was Kings that contact me and gave the date and time, not the other way around. Can`t believe they can just pull the plug like that and all they would say is I`ll be put on the extra list. I wasn`t the only one they done that to today, she had another lady to call and tell her the good news as well. Going to bug the living daylights out of them now till I get another date.

Mine was cancelled today should have gone I. Sunday .. But mine is due to a complication found by the anaesthetist so I can't complain . I have him to thank really x

Oh dippy and Lorraine. Not good! Lorraine they just don't appreciate the effort into getting things organised. Taking time off work etc isn't easy these days. I hope you get a date very soon. And dippy what did the anaesthetic find? For health reasons they have to get any underlying issues sorted first. You are handling this very well. I'd be disappointed but as you say it's for the best xxx to the question earlier re my preop diet well it's a bit of all sorts now really. I'm having a shake and two slim fast snacks during the day then home for a calorie counted meal made up of 350-400cals. I did have a vodka and diet coke last night and a couple of nights ago two glasses of wine but figured as I could go to 1000 cals per day I'd have the ones I'd not used on other days for a drink . Keeping me sane-ish. Hope you are all doing ok on this exciting journey . Not been on much as there's a bit of a crescendo at work at the mo. Which suits me as it's making the time fly by. Can't believe how quick this week has gone already. Chins up peeps xxx

Really proud of myself went to see Dr about which tablets I can get as soluble or can be crushed ready for next Friday,he weighed me while I was there and I've lost 10lbs on my pre op diet so far really pleased day 8 and hard slog but worth it and makes me more determined to stick to it
