March 2014 Surgeries

Still in hospital. it will be a week tomorrow since my bypass. Struggling finding a balance between my medication and liquid diet. Feel full all the time. Now my blood pressure keeps dropping and I have the runs. Any and all advice would be appreciated.

hi strawberry can I ask what the hospital are giveing you to eat? I'm now on day 4 and they have allowed me only water tea and coffee I'm wondering when they will start letting me have soup lol can't survive on water much longer x

Just waiting for my other half to get dressed and then we setting off to thornburry I am much calmer than I expected I've peed so much in the nite it's a joke 14lb down on pre op and am ready to do this now let's go my word have I had some moments over the weekend it's unbelievable the emotional roller coaster you go on bloody before the op never mind after!!! Take care folks xx

not started me on soup or jelly yet they said water for next couple days then I can try soup x

tinker thay can suggest just water etc for any period they feel is suitable i would just be patient and not rush the soup specially if your still being sick
