Hey Leeds, nervous as hell, pre op good going well, had a wobble yesterday but on a whole I think I'm looking forward to it. I might not be saying that on the long @rse trek on Saturday morning to Dolan park but we shall see.

No real feeling of restriction at all now.... Nothing in my band yet, and the swelling is going down..... I have been so well behaved and fade stuck to my liquids so much... Been tempted to try and blend thicker stuff but ain't felt the need to yet..... I don't think I have ever been this disciplined in my life bout anything....

I don't feel hungry which is such a change for me.... Looking forward to work as I think I will concentrate better

good luck kimmie tinker thay can suggest just water etc for any period they feel is suitable i would just be patient and not rush the soup specially if your still being sick

Can you swallow normally? Or do u have to sip everything? I'm so terrible for gulping down water etc...

I've been careful not to gulp... But I have no issues with swallowing.... Was tempted with a piece if egg this morning but I resisted just in case I had any issues.... Happy with things so far... Getting bored with complan... Other half is having a curry tonight... I might blend a little if the aside with some very wet mags potatoe.... Daring or what! Lol

Hi Leeds, I feel the same so far too. I am having op on Friday (Bypass). On this milk diet I have not been hungry at all and so looking forward to moving on and tasting something different tho lol

I too have been concentrating better and sleeping better since i have been doing this milk diet...... its great. I feel refreshed every morning before I go to work which makes a real change. Glad you are feeling better xx

Hi Kissthetoad, I am in on Thursday, op on Friday. I am at Sunderland hun. I cant wait now.

Leeds you did make me chuckle there about wanting to taste something defferent! I was the same on Friday so put some curry powder in my veggie soup lol Was lovely and just the trick xx

Last day at work for me tomorrow eek! Counting down the hours.....

Hello everyone not matter how many seminars meets with dr dieticians prepared me for how rough I feel oh good lord I feel shocking I've never been in hospital never been put under think that's making it worse had a few moments 2day what av I done to myself! Probably normal with how crap I feel the staff at thornberry are faultless totally amazing ive been out of it bigtime until mid day today been sick twice with blood they've said that's quite normal anybody having surgery soon do not forget ya dry mouth spray it's an absolute god send!!! Well am sat in my chair at the min going to try a little shower when my sis + mum arrives put on some more fresh pjs + get ready for sleepies again! That's all I seem to be doin take care folks xx

Hi all bypass went well Friday,I'm still in the hospital hopeing to go home tommorow.only allowed tea coffee and water so far.it helps that the nurses here are so nice.dosed up on morphine so away with the fairys a lot.good luck to everyone who's going in this week xx
