Viki, I'm so sorry you're feeling down. Things ARE going to get better. You are NOT a failure! You are going to lose weight and your life is going to be amazing! He will regret ever treating you like he did. From what I read, it's perfectly normal to be down and it will pass. Hang in there sweetie. I wish I could give you a huge hug! you will have down days hun at the beginning, its seems like you wont get over it but you will hun.. get your infection checked out, you may need some antibiotics... i had to have some for a week for an small infection x

I hope your ok I know I'm really young (so obviously don't know much) and also pre op so don't yet know fully what your going through but I know what depression is like and I know about having really bad days I've been like that for 2 days and its driving me insane! Just keep thinking of your goal hun (for me its my op) it may seem a way off yet but your on the road and getting there ...

Hey Rayne,
Thanks for worrying about me. I called the clinic and explained they said call my gp for some anti-biotics so I did the receptionist said she'd have the gp call me so I waited. He finally called and after I explained again he said to call in the morning for an appointment as he needs to see the wounds before he can prescribe anything. So I will call the gp in the morning and hopefully get it sorted tomorrow sometime. With a bit of luck. I don't know if I said before but 2 years ago it was thought I had cancer and they did surgery. The surgery went ok and there was no cancer but the infections (5 in total) I got afterwards nearly killed me so it's scaring the crap out of me even though this is nowhere near as bad as that I just can't keep from thinking about the last time

Your very welcome I like to be kind to people ... if the doc gets on top of the infection straight away it should go I really hope it does I know persistent infections are awfull my husband has one that's been there almost 2 years now it drives him mad cos he's always run down! ... I hope he sorts it tomorrow hun or at least starts the sorting lol xxx

went to doctors and she gave me antibiotics for 7 days. I started taking them yesterday and feel a bit better Went and did the shopping today and had soup in the cafe. I feel really good but get tired so quickly...probably due to no "real" food. I can walk a lot further now without before needing a rest though which is glorious really.
The depression I felt the other day is gone now. I spent all day yesterday just relaxing and reading and when I woke this morning I wasn't feeling sad at all. I guess I do have a lot on my plate at the minute and it just sometimes gets me down.

I hope all of you are doing well and have had a good day

I refuse to be sucked into the black hole of sadness. I am getting better, losing weight, feeling better about myself and starting to like the face staring back from the mirror. Being able to get out makes life easier to cope with atm.

That's great soon you will start seeing even more changes and will LOVE that face I'm ok thank you going insane waiting for my appointment with the consultant but other than that I'm fine my son certainly keeps me busy waiting Haha he got up at 5 this mornin an put moisturiser all over our dogs! Charming boy! Haha can't help but laugh! Xx
