Well I've been cleaning all day too. Pooped now, especially as I'm day 6 into my pre-op diet. I'm quite hungry today. We're going to a beer festival tonight. It's going to be Hell! 50 different ciders, my weapon of choice mostly! I'll be on pop instead and end up taxiing all the drunks home :-( Still, worth it in the end. X

Chappers, hope you got through it ok! I had to go to a 40th party booze-free the weekend before my op, it wasn't that bad at all.

Not bad thanks sweetie. Had a good girly chat/catch-up with an old friend who stayed last night. Just chilling tonight and tomorrow, housework is all done and I've got Monday off, yay. Chappers, hope you got through it ok! I had to go to a 40th party booze-free the weekend before my op, it wasn't that bad at all.

It was surprisingly OK you know! Mind you, it was packed and noisy and stank of stale beer so it didn't bug me too much. If it were a wine tasting mind, I'd have avoided it like the plague! Designated drivers got free diet coke so that was nice. But no glass, ice or slice! Feel like a drink now though as hubby is in a huff again about my surgery. I'm a gnats dick away from packing my bags! X

I'm meant to be on mush for three days from today, and I'm struggling to eat anything, I can really feel the restriction. Even tiny bites of soggy Weetabix was difficult this morning. I gave up after 20 minutes.

It's still early days after the fill though, I'm sure it'll settle down. It's lovely not to feel hungry but I doubt it'll last!

I'm finally starting to see how the band's supposed to work, the past couple of weeks of ravenous hunger have been awful.

I'm making some fabulous gurgling noises when I eat and drink at the moment!

I'm sure it won't stay like this though.

I can't believe it's two months already since I had the op, where has the time gone?

Not long now until on the losers bench. I'm at the hospital tomorrow for my pre-op visit. I've been blitzing the house to get my heavy work done so I'll not have so much to do before Christmas. I can't make mind up if nervous or not. X
