Good luck and quick healing willow xxx

Good luck Willow

Hope everything went well today Xenia, and you are feeling ok.

Thank you: Maggy, jlb5686, Su2ie, Mizkirsty, gweni, and sephem
for all your good wishes.
Hope so Maggy, I should be down first thing Wednesday morning.

Su2ie: I hope you will be feeling better soon.

Xenia I hope your surgery went well wishing you a speedy recovery . Hope to hear from you when you have some strength. Love from us all x

They wouldn't say to a drug addict just take a tiny bit of drugs a day but not too much would they? You can live without other addictive substances but you cannot live without food. It will always have to be there. I slipped on my preop diet and I was ok - I'm not advocating it but the important thing is to get back on it and not let one slip become multiple. You can help reduce any damage!! Your in a place of safety here. We all moan and whinge. Feel free vent your feelings. Don't let them eat you up - and actually it feels good to hear other people experience the same!! Xx

So true and something about addiction that I've said before.

Thank you for your continued support.

By the way whilst doing the pre op I've noticed how many people smell of garlic! I love the stuff and probably smelt like it very day, but oh my god, sometimes it made my stomach turn :) xx

Strange what you notice, eh.

Thank you for your encouragement and understanding. It helps a lot.

Xenia - I hope everything went to plan and you are managing to rest comfortably

Willow- hope you are keeping calm and wish you well for Wednesday xx

Hi Willow4, thank you for asking. I'm a bit uncomfortable, I suspect wind pain, and very hot. Not a good sleep but hopefully I can catch up during the day. Can't wait to get home. I need to be careful of the dogs as they do like to sit beside me on the settee! Xxx

Sharona and ICAM thanks for asking. I will do a further updated later, just a little jaded at moment xx

All the best on Wednesday Willow4, look forward to hearing from you xx

Hi all, I'm new to the forum but thought I'd hijack this post as well as I had my sleeve op on the 7th at Spire Manchester (private funder)...good luck to all those that are due surgeries in the next few days and hope all those like me November post oppers are recovering well - would be good to share some experiences :) x

Well, back home but feel very sore, taking those painkillers religiously, just to keep it at bay. Asked for Tramadol as knew I would need something stronger than Paracetamol. Just drinking lists of water and quarter of a cup of chicken consommé. Not really hungry yet as body getting over things. The surgeon used a smaller camera so apart from the port the cuts are 5 mm instead of 10 mm. The wind pain is not pleasant, and like I always do with anaesthetic I get tearful. The bariatric nurse was fantastic. So pleased to be home with the OH and dogs. If I could I would raise a glass of wine and say " here's to the future " it can only get better xxx

Glad your home Xenia67 :party0036: Here's raising a glass to the future, and to things getting better. All the best with your journey
