WTG!!! Neisie you have done tremendously well and you must be well proud...size 12 :wow:
Well done Neisie! You look fabulous. Kismet you are looking gorgeous! Thanks for all your advice regarding my predicament. My balloon is tmw so naturally nervous and anxious. It's at 10AM. Been told to be nill by mouth by 12AM. Any advice for the journey to and back? I've got my water bottle, hand fan, pillow, stocked up on ice, water and ice lollies as instructed. And just had my last meal a salmon salad. As I was told to have a light meal.
Booked my 12 month Spatz balloon in Latvia for €3000 on the 14th of March.
We're are u having yours done.
I have wanted it for age's but have had to wait until hubby got a passport then I started a new job and wanted to settle in I also have four kids so need to get them looked after for the weekend. I'm going on fro and returning on sun I'm back to work on mon and I'm worried about this if I wait and get it on my week off in April I'm afraid I'll be still big all summer really want to enjoy wearing clothes this summer. I hope all goes well in the morning. Xx
Good luck ladies to you bothjust stick to the rules and you will be fine. My experience wasn't a good one at all but having seven stone to lose I needed it to be in there for the full term to progress on to my bypass... I achieved that
. Nearly five stone with it in and three+ stone on the run up to it going in. I suffered terrible reflux 24/7 and the only relief was to keep my diet as bland as possible and no fruit or veggies and a regular prescription of lanzaprole
. My balloon wouldn't let a lot of things go past it! All to do with my weird anatomy apparently hahaha Everyone's experience is different but the Spatz type seems to be the better way to go unfortunately in my case the NHS doesn't provide them (cost) and it's the Orbera balloon or nothing
I hope they rethink that one
. Good Luck!
