Thank you chrisa... You will get on those scales tomorrow and you will have dropped into the 14's I'll bet! Your body is only reacting to all the stress you are under I'm sure... xxx

Best of luck with talk with you boss Chris, if he is a fair man he will help you out I'm sure. As for anti depressants and weight gain, there are some that will not affect your weight at all so that is something to bare in mind if you ever felt you wanted to try them but fingers crossed for you that you wont need too x

Congrat's Amanda! that is fantastic news, well done :) x

My meeting with boss was yesterday n he is a she, she sat and listened and sympathised a bit. I feel lot better today getting it off my chest but nowt has changed so will have to wait n see what happens next week. Think am all cried out now xx today's menu

Brought a exercise heart rate monitor (one with a watch and chest strap) today, used to use one years ago at the gym and I love them as they really encourage you as you can see an accurate reading of how many calories you are burning. Just got a cheap one from tesco, but works great. I recommend them :)

Amanda I'm so happy for you, it's such a buzz when those scales move, well done! Ad well done everyone else xxx

Thank you Dimond it will sort itself out hopefully, just at breaking point this week, been a tough week, still bit down but better than was Thursday think I'm all cried out. Can't shift this headache, guna have more paracetamols before bed. Think it may be with the stress too. xx

The headaches will be from stress chrisa. Iv been in you're position and its not nice but you need to put things into perspective, you are such a lovely lady with a loving family and friends and at the end of the day, it's only a job. It is hard to get to think like this as I believe if you are passionate about you're work it is hard to switch off when you go home but you have to my friend. Stay strong lovely and just remember what's important in you're life xxx

Hi all. Hope you are having a good weekend. I've not had a great day myself. Came home from being out and my dog struggled to get up to see me and then fell over. Then had a severe limp. I rushed her to the emergency vets. He thinks she has twisted her hip and maybe has arthritis, she need more tests. Very upsetting day/night for me as she is my baby. He gave her a injection for the pain and some meds to take home but she is still suffering so I'm sitting up with her. Hopefully things will improve when I can give her the second dose. Anyway menu wise is rubbish today. I've had a boiled egg and a bit of ham and that's it but I find when I'm stressed my pouch feels really tight and small and I just can't eat. Anyone else get that? Hopefully will do better tomorrow x

Oh am sorry to hear bout your dog you must have been really upset n worried, its no different to having a sick child you want to be there for them, and only the best care will do. I know what you mean bout the eating I think thtas why I havent lost for 2 weeks with stress I am eating but leave most of it, not enough fluids either and not enough exercise just can't do it all thes e last 2 weeks, my mind is elsewhere, I have a constant headache since bout Wed, I wake up with it and go to bed with it have been taking paracetamol, put it down to dehydration through the week but have kept fluids up since Friday n still have it. Hope your little dog recovers quickly and you get back tp yur regular routine. TAKE CARE XX

Aww Shelley i hope youre little baby gets better soon I totally understand where you are coming from. I have 2 Westies and they are my babies, I absolutely adore them. My husband laughs at me because before we got them I wasn't that bothered about animals but when we got Charlie i totally fell in love with him then I wanted another one so we got beau a year later and again fell in love with her, she is my princess!!! Anyone reading this who isn't on our wave length about animals must find it very strange talking about dogs in this way but believe me I was like that until I got mine lol. My girls who are now 19 & 15 take the mick and say I love my pooches more than them!!!! Xxxx

My Son and his gf have a westy, she is very small and the vet says she will stay like that she is 9 months old now and what a character, I am allergic to animal fur and it can bring on an asthma attack and make my eyes really bad, I persevere with her cos she is lovely, they call her Millie I will see if I can get you a picture below. They call us nana n granda when they tell her who she is guna see, i have always loved and had dogs cats rabbits etc. from being very young but once I got to my 20's I had severe allergic reactions to animal fur so we had to get rid of our animals and kids never forgave me but it still breaks my heart cos I do love animals.

Thanks so much Chrisa and Dimond. I'm glad you agree. Some people think I'm mad but she really is such a special dog, the love of my life. She is 9 now so I'm going to have to come to terms with problems like these happening but as much as I'm a rational person at work (vets) when it comes to your own it's hard to be isn't it? especially as she still acts like a puppy so when she hurt she is so different. Although saying that, she can barely stand but she is still sitting by the door waiting to go for a walk! bless her. Still can't eat today, I think you are right Chrisa, that by not eating you probably going into starvation mode and that's why you have a small stall. Hopefully now you are feeling better things will pick up again. Thanks again for the thoughts about my doggie. Hopefully she will feel better soon xx
