bypass daily menu -

Thanks Shelley, no don't mind you saying. I'm very aware of my lack of fluid intake, and do try to sip, but if I try when I feel full it makes me feel sick. I'm sure it will settle and I will get back to my pre op fluid intake, especially as my activity levels increase.

Well done Wobbly doing very well. I still feel restriction very well, I am almost 17 months post bypass. I don't feel hungry at all but my head tells me when I have to eat which isn't always good but its better than feeling hungry I guess.

Congratulagtions wobbly that's a really good loss... brings back memories reading your menus only seems like yesterday that I was eating a teaspoon of this and that lol....

I think you're doing brilliantly wobbly!!
Well 3lbs loss this week! Very pleased as only lost a lb the week before. I have actually increased the amount I am eating up to about 800 calories on average and that seems to have worked for now anyway.. Really would love to get down into the 12 stones before my dieticians appointment February 14th, but that is only a month away, so I am probably being over ambitious...

Weigh in today. Another 3lbs off (9 stone 5 in total) and down to 16 stone 3. Seems to be coming off 3lbs a week all the time.

I'm surprised actually with all the stress I am under with oh being in hospital again and caring for mam too. Bit enough hours in day and I'm exhausted and not eating regularly. Thank god for lattes and their easy intake of protein.

Also thank god for op as if not I'd of been pigging out on crap!

Well done Wobbly for getting off those tablets. Fabs news.

Well done on the weight loss Amanda and Retfordmag :)

My menu from yesterday, which was terrible but I had good day. Breakfast and lunch was a lf prawn sandwich from tesco. So half for a late breakfast and half at lunch. Then I was staying at the vets and going out with the nurses for 2 4 1 cocktail night, the nurse that lives above the practice cooked pizza so I had a slice. Obviously had a couple of drinks too, only 1 cocktail but the barman was a client and I told him I wanted a cocktail but they all have too much sugar in them and he made me one without any added sugar or syrup with diet coke and tons of ice and a straw to stir out some of the bubbles. It was great to be able to enjoy one. Anyway so good night out but feel a little worse for it this morning. Bit of a naughty carb filled day but it's not a common thing so I'm not going to worry about it.

Menu plans for today -
Breakfast - scrambled egg.
Lunch - Chicken and roasted vegetables.
Dinner - Hot salmon salad.
Snack - grapes and a mini baby light.

Lots of water and tea today to re-hydrate and I shall get on my treadmill later too :)

Hope you are all having a good weekend x

Thank you for your advice. Today has improved protein wise as I have gone back to milky coffees and had an options made with milk. Just can't get over how decadent it feels having milky coffee instead of normal all the time. Added marvel too. So today's menu
B 1/2 weetabix with 80 mls ss milk ( would I be ok to have proper porridge now, dislike readybrek)
L latte and petit filous
D minced lamb casserole
S WW choc mousse options with milk and added marvel
Drinks 2 normal coffee 1/2ltr water and 1ltr NAS squash

I think you would be fine on proper oats as long as u make sure they ate really cooked out, glad u r enjoying the milky drinks and sukay I agree myfitnesspal is amaze!!
