Shelleymarie.. Hope you are feeling brighter today.. I think you are right about not realising with the bypass that losing all that weight doesn't solve all the other problems.. I sometimes struggle with that fact also.. Losing some weight hasn't changed all the other things that are wrong in my life... I think again you are right when you say if it was more gradual then more time to adjust, but with a bypass the weight loss is anything BUT gradual, so definitely takes a while to find that equilibrium I think... But you have done so well and achieved so much in such a short time, and then the added pressure of long working hours, it is bound to get to you from time to time..

Thanks Amanda. Yeah a little better. I've just trying to get by day by day at the moment. To hard to think about it all and the long term at the moment so trying to break it down in to manageable bits. It's all a lot to happen in a few months isn't it? After so long not working too, it's just trying to learn to cope with normal life and normal life is stressful at times. It's such steep a learning curve. I'm hoping in a month or so time I will feel better with my tablets, be more used to work and the travel. Plus my treadmill arrived today and I think I'm in love. It's amazing, I shall enjoy having a go at it tomorrow. Getting some proper exercise even though I'm tired should really help lift my mood again :) x

Menu today -
Breakfast - Slice of toast.
Lunch - Grilled chicken breast, lf feta and spinach salad with a teaspoon of extra light mayo.
Dinner - left overs from lunch.
Snack - Pineapple.

Hope you have a lovely time in Wales Paula :) x

You will get there. I was munching quality street like nobodies business at Christmas. Once I weighed and saw in a month I had gained 4lbs, I told myself 'that would double and triple if you continue'. So I stopped. Still got business stresses. But being back in control of my eating is making me feel I can control my business too :)

Good luck Chrisa xxx

Sorry to hear about your gain Chrisa, but as you say, you are on top of it, and it has been christmas, so in truth gaining a couple of pounds over the festive season isn't terrible at all, and you will soon get that off and more now it's back to normal again I'm sure... Shelleymarie! I'm so glad you are enjoying your treadmill, exercise certainly helps my moods.. Really feel awful if I don't get to the gym every day, I think my body has got used to the exercise now.. And when I run It just makes me feel so great!! suppose it's all those endorphins or whatever... I know what you mean about so many life changes all at once, it is a bit scary and difficult to adjust to it all.. I have days when I just want to stick my head under my pillow and not get up at all, thank goodness though they are few and far between at the moment.. xxx

Thanks Amanda, you are very right. I really think it's going to help. Well I'm in a bit of shock this morning as I've lost 11lb this week. I checked it at home a couple of times then popped into boots to double check it. Totally mad. It makes 13lb since new years day. Obviously I'm over the moon with the weight loss. I'm now only 1lb from losing 10 stone but I know what my body is like and it seems to go in great spurts and stops so suspect I'll get another stall/gain after the one I've just had but I can't complain at losing 10 stone in 7 and half months is crazy! I've not been this weight since I was 17/18 years old :happy036:

My menu plans for today are -
Breakfast - Cottage cheese and pineapple
Lunch - A wrap using ham as the wrap with salad and lf feta inside.
Dinner - Going to Toby carvery with my mum as she has January blues so thought I'd treat her to that and maybe the cinema if we have time. She can help eat mine.

Have a good day all x

Oh Shelleymarie!! that is an astounding weight loss!! Just the boost you needed while you're feeling low.. I would imagine if you do get a stall now, you won't mind not after losing almost a months weight loss all in one go!! Whatever you're doing, you surely must be doing it alright.. xxxx

I just had a pretty feel good moment also, not as dramatic as yours though, but made me feel great!! I bought a pair of size 14 boot cut black hipster jeans from a charity shop about 3 months ago, and put them up wishing and hoping that one day they would fit me, and thought I would see if I was anywhere nearer to getting into them, and blow me down! they fitted, and fitted without bulges over the waistband and cutting me in two.. I am so pleased I must have lost inches even if my weight loss hasn't been that great the last 2 or 3 weeks. It's my weigh day tomorrow so fingers crossed I will have lost something, but even if not, those jeans make up for it....xxx

I'm sure I will stall now but no I won't mind at all. If that is the way my body does, then that's the way it will have to be. Like you say that's over a months loss in 10 days so I'm extremely happy with it and I really did need the boost like you say. Thank you :)

Wow!! That's is just fantastic. I'm dreaming of the day of fitting in a size 14. Well done you. If I remember correctly the average size of women these days is a 16. So look at you being below average! fab. I always say measure yourself because it's outstanding the differences you will see from one month to the next. I keep a tally of mine and I've lost 81.0 inches from my body if you just count the one side (arm/leg) plus waist, hips, bust and neck. Incredible when you look at like that. You're getting there hun, won't be long before all 14's and then it's the 12's! :D I'm sure you will have lost too xxx

I wished I had measured now, but never mind... It really is the most incredible journey we are on isn't it xxxx

Definitely. I'd say it's like a roller coaster but I do think the ups are worth the downs :) xxx

Sip, sip sip is the annoying thing we always say to each other. So important in the early days and at all times really. Congrat's on the great loss too :) x
