Don't mind you asking at all. I think I probably manage just about as I do have Marvel in two or three mugs of coffee a day as well.

I must sit and work it out properly and maybe weigh things (proteins anyway) for a bit just to check it out. I know I had 2 - 3 ozs cheese on my toast and I would think 4 oz gammon with evening meal so hopefully not to far off. I know I have got complacent at nearly two years out and am sneaking in too many carbs, but am trying to get myself sorted out as I have a great fear of putting weight back on again.

Edit - just had a quick check on myfitness pal and it looks as though I am falling short and only had 45g of protein today. Thanks for bringing it up, as I would not have really thought about it. I need to start planning meals again I think!

Hope that helps hon, because if you're filling up on protein the carbs should automatically become smaller. I aim for 20-25% of my total cals to be carbs. If calorie counting fills you with dread, which it did me for ages, maybe going back to the half quarter quarter rule for all meals/snacks?

Hi
Breakfast - 1 slice brown toast with light spread
Dinner - 1/4 quiche with beans small portion
Tea - home made shepherds pie with gravy - nice
Snacks - 3 baby bel, 1 light options drink.

Still hungrier on a night than during the day.
X

That's quite normal Borogirl, many bypassers struggle to eat in the morning actually.

Whats geocashing? xx

It's a bit like treasure hunting, with a bit of orienteering. There are millions of deposits in all shapes and sizes across the world. They are posted on geocaching.com, and you use gps and clues to find the depositories. They almost always contain a log to record your visit, but some also have small objects where you take something and leave something else. Some of these items can be traceable, one we found today had been travelling around Europe for 5 years, and started in North Sweden. We found it in a tree on a country lane in West Wales! They can be tiny, one we found today was a brick that had been drilled out and small plastic capsule inserted in to it. You then log your visit, and whether you were successful online.

It's very exciting and cool. Doesn't cost alot, and it's good exercise all the scrambling about you do.

eeeh you lost me, won't be trying that out. xx As long as you enjoy it thats all that matters.

Hope you all have a lovely day xx

You seem blessed with the same sweet tooth I have ;) does look like a better day :) I generally get over 100g protein but I seem to be able to eat a fair bit more than some.

How did you guess I had a sweet tooth!! I don't dump so can eat anything. Obviously before I got to target I only had odd treats, but now I do probably go a bit overboard.

I don't think I could ever eat 100g of protein, so you are doing really well. I must go back through the thread and see what you eat to get that level and pinch some ideas.

Had a bad pouch day today, vomited twice, both times on turkey. Won't be having that again for a while. But I did wake up very tight, even with fluids. Also the glamorous side of wls has reared its head, and some sores in my loose tummy skin. Feel a bit miserable with it, hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

B: turkey and brie (came back).
L: cheedar with apple chutney and a crispbread.
S: 2 breakfast biscuits
S: 4 pieces diabetic chocolate (not by habit, was offered some to try).
D: turkey and mushrooms in white sauce (came back).
S: 100g greek yoghurt

Yeah just be careful sometime syour pouch just needs a little rest and an easy day. sloppy easy food for whole dya might help it out, porridge or weetabix for breakfast, good start then things that will go down easily ease of meat lumps. Meat pieces at this stage should be no bigger than the rubber on the tip of a pencil and then they need to be chewed still. Hope that helps xxx take it easy. xxx

Thanks for the advice Chrisa, much appreciated. I will definitely have a sloppy day or two. I'm normally careful, but I'm staying with my parents so not in control as much as normal.
