bypass daily menu -

My stall seems to be over for now - calorie counting and keeping carbs at or below 80, protein above 100 has it moving nicely.

L Grapes (54g) and 2 hard boiled eggs(74g whites no yolks)

Thanks ladies for input,

This might sound daft but I'm really bad at drinking fluids,I count my coffee as fluids and I'm not near drinking enough.
Does it really effect your weightloss not having enough fluids within the body?
And how many calories do you not go over?
I've never counted calories,as I do not want to be on a diet for the rest of my life if u know what I mean.
But I'm just stuck!have been now for 12 months and still got 2 stones to go.

It's really important to keep your fluids up tbh. I aim for 1000 calories a day, as that's what I've been advised to do by my dietician.

I was told to aim for around 1200 once I was eating 'properly'. I don't often count them, but when I do I am usually between 1000 and 1500 which is keeping me at maintenance level.

I find drinking fluids hard too and tend to rely on my coffees and teas. I have started making sure that I have a large glass of water to drink during the evening, and once the weather improves I will drink ice cold ns squash so that will help too. Are you due to see your dietician again? Perhaps they can give you some advice?

No Jane not due to see them,
I need to start doing things a bit different..
I'll be honest and a couple of bad habits have kicked in! So I need to nip them in the bud

L: 2/3 atkins bar
D: 1 sausage, little mash potato and gravy.
S: 3 cheddar crackers, 25g cheddar 3 wt slice ham.

It's funny how were all so different. I finally figured out why I was stalling. 1100 is too low for me! Whereas for others my 1600 would make a gain. But yes I find water totally affects my loss.

Its fascinating reading these posts n menus how very different we all are.

Welcome Carebear lovely of you to join in with us every one welcome here. Mayamoo started the thread off she is holiday at the moment, and won't mind at all.

I do think water does make a difference with our weightloss to Yvessa. I don't count calories either. What makes you thnk you still have 2 stones left to go. Do you have a realistic goal? I have had to look at mine. I have never been slim even as a child was overweight. So I can never expect to be svelt like. I still weigh 14 st 4 - 14st 7. It is fluctuating between the 2. I was 14 stone when I left school. Was that weight when I got married after having the kids my weight never went back down just put more on. At my largest when referred I was 24 st 11. I don't honestly think my body will go much lower. I look a lot trimmer and I am mostly in size 18's. A 16 would have been my goal and 13 st 5 was my ideal target as thats what i manage dto get down to before I fell pregnant with my 1st child. But its having none of it. I can put up with it, nut some people will not understand why I am not stick thin, it just isn't meant to be like that for my body. So take a good look and think back from where you came and look to see if your goal is realistic, if i were to lose anymore I would look ill I do not want to get to that point. xxxx

My doctor and I agreed on a goal hitch puts me at 14 stone 2lbs. I would like to be in the 12 stone region. And am still losing - seem to have cracked it for now :) lost half a stone in three weeks.

Hi
Sorry I haven't posted, I went to Devon at the weekend for a wedding. Travelling long distances and food is tricky during transit! Anyway I managed to eat a good variety of small portions, help your self breakfasts in the Travel lodge were great for my protein and I had a bit of each course of the wedding meal. To my hubbys delight we went for a meal and I had a starter for my main, tempura prawns with a chilli dip.
Anyway today I am exceptionally ill with a really bad cold. Only eaten half a pot of low fat custard and 3 pieces of chicken breast from Macdonalds. My calories are low for today but I feel dreadful. I will post any weightloss tomorrow. Think I am 2 stone down since op on 22 Feb.
