Sometimes in life we just have to make a stand sometimes its on our favour and sometimes its not thank goodness it worked this time and gave you the opportunity you needed. xx

todays menu
breakfast - none
lunch -1 slice bread with ham and lots of salad
dinner - 1 chicken thigh, cauli, carrots and broccoli (did have two thighs, but could only eat one.
s.mars bar ice cream and jaffa cake bar
handfull of peanuts
 
Morning all have started off on the right foot today, have took Yves advice she gave to one of ya, cos am being naughty with carbs some days. Always seem to get my veg n fruit in though and protein. Guna up the protein tyr n keep carbs to minimum. x

B 2 MUSHROOMS, 1TOMATO, 2 WALLS THIN SKINLESS SAUSAGES ALL OVEN COOKED.

L SOME SORT OF PROTEIN AS TO WHAT DON'T KNOW AMN GOING OUT WITH MY SIS TODAY THE OLDER ONE.

D 1 YORK PUD, CABBAGE, CARROTS N PARSNIP 1 SMALL ROASTIE, STEAK N ONION IN GRAVY

WATER, TEA, COFFEE
 
I am struggling a bit with carbs so really trying hard to get it sorted out. I have put this pic (me at about 1 to 2 stone less than my heaviest and me in January this year at goal) on my screensaver to remind me of how far I have come in the hope that it will encourage me!

WOW you have come an awful long way Jane. Looking really good carbs were always my down fall, used to love bread dont have it that often now, but enjoy, wraps,wb/ thins, crumpets, bagels,pitta bread, odd bit potato. If i have cereal for breakfast at work i try to have cucumber with pate then i dont need the bread or crackers etc, just bit fruit after it. Tea time usually have some carb but not always, but sometimes on an evening if i havent had a great dela to eta have slice of toast. I miss bread sometimes but know its no good for me really. xx
 
I think cutting out or at least cutting down on carbs has been one of the hardest bits, especially as I have been trying to increase my calories to maintain rather than keep losing. But I want to stay well within the normal bmi so am going to have to knuckle down again for a bit.

I can easily do without potatoes, rice pasta etc, its the bread I like! So far only had a banana so gives me lots of options for the rest of the day.
 
Why don't you try swapping your normal bread for warburtons thins Jane? That way you can still have it, but reduce the carbs and calories?
 
Not been feeling too good today and eating has been a real struggle. Seem to have a real achey/grumbling type pain in my lower GI tract. Here's my menu for today. Think ill do a liquid only day tomorrow.

B - Greek yogurt, strawberries & grapes.
L - Tiny bit of leftover chicken dinner.
T - Tiny bit of chicken tikka.

Drinks - Tea, coffee, nas still water.

Snack - banana
Lunch - scrambled egg on toast
Snack - 2 baby bel
Dinner - beef stir fry in black bean sauce, small portion
1 instants hot choc plus black coffee and juice.
Lost 1lb so hoping that's a kick start. Now 16lb 4. Want to be in the 15s now so need to get rid of these 4lb!

You look so different Jane! I understand exactly what you mean about bread - so for me it had to go! Permanently totally gone. I can manage all other things except for biscuits in moderation, but never bread lol.
 
Well looks like most of us had agood day of food/menus. I went out with my sis n I had a deli choice grilled chicken n salad wrap at Mac D's took nearly 10 mins to get it made would ve bin so easy just to have a burger that was already done but no those days are long on, i tend to stick with chicken was luvly xxx
 
It was you can always take the other half home if you cant eat it all. 1.99 it was, also have breakfast snak wraps on which may be ok for ya jus little, 99p they are xx worth a try xx
 
Busy busy today, hit the pool and did 42 lengths. Then up to uni to start my new course.

B: 1/2 Atkins bar.
L: 50g Tuna with 15g light mayo 10g ketchup and 2 melbas.
S: Babybel light.
D: 65g Chicken with a tbsp egg fried rice.
S: 35g Red Leicester.

1 mug tea, 2 mugs coffee, 1 litre water.
