Hmm well I said it and recieved an incredibly churlish email for it! Maz states (amongst other things) she won't be posting on this thread any longer.
That's her own decision to make but by posting our intake we all invite opinions and advice if you cant take anything other than pats on the back perhaps forums aren't the best place for you!

Its funny isn't it? There seems to be two sorts going for these ops, the ones who want to carry on eating the stuff that got them this way and the ones who realise that you've got to make the changes to make it work. Now I'm far from perfect, but I can acknowledge when I get it wrong.

Completely agree with you maya and yve. No one is truly perfect, and if they say they are they're fibbers. But why would you want to compromise and sabotage the the tool you've been given?

If your not prepared to make the lifelong lifestyle changes, and carry on with your bad eating and poor post op nutrition. Why bother having the surgery in the first place?

I made the decision that I'm going to do everything in my power not to fail at this opportunity I've been given. But not everyone has the same mindset, which is a shame :-(

It frustrates me that its an opportunity someone else would have made the most of....but you get what you put in.....if you always do what you've always done you'll ways get what you've always got and if that was getting fat from eating crap the bypass will make a difference for a while....but keep your fat pants on standby!

Todays menu:
B- melba, lf Philly ten grapes
S- roast edamame
L- one new potato, one n half slice haslet, baby beets, cue, lf Philly

Drinks - Tea, coffee, water & nas ribena.

For me it all about getting the best out of the little food we eat. We may take supplements, but if we get the best nutrition from our food we can, it goes a long way to help with our overall health. I'm very conscious of my reduced ability to absorb nutrients!

B: Banana + Greek yogurt.
S: 2 breakfast biscuits.
L: 150g chicken curry.
S: 2 babybel and 50g ham.
D: Italian meatball soup. Nectarine
S: Protein shake. Caramel macchiato

I have always said that I can eat more than most, but the majority of what I eat is highly nutritious :) And ultimately you don't lose as much as some of us have without putting 100% into it.

Lunch - 1 slice of home made pizza toast topped low fat cheese, with tuna and olives. Eaten in two parts.
