Had a super munchie day yesterday, think its getting close to totm, lol. Today is Dday or rather Wday (for wine). The date has been in my diary for 6 months, today I try alcohol for the first time post op - I'm quite scared, lol. But its been agreed with my team and my husband since before I went under the knife, so I've done everything else to the letter, I will do this too, haha. If I come on here later ranting and raving, you know why........

I'm off to talk about my experience in front of a room full of people now, eeek. Its for a bariatric information day.

Fingers and toes crossed for you maya. Well had my wine, 2 very small glasses, was uneventful to sat the least. Felt a bit fuzzy quite quickly, but it went quickly too. Totally sober an hour later!

Well nos specific menu today at work for quite few hours picked up 6.45 and home bout 8.30 tonight it will be. Am going armed with piece melon, banana, 2 satsumas, pear, grapes, crackers, pate, dairylea dunker, dry granola, special k crisps. sounds al ot but its 2 meals and snacks and probably have nothing else when I get home tonight.

water, teac and coffee.

I would just like to thank everyone on here for posting your daily menus, I don't post often but read your post to make sure I'm on track.
You are all an inspiration to anyone who reads this post.

I was worrying I was not losing much each week because I was eating too much/not enough but I eat around 800 to 1000 calories aday, fluid is my worse thing, never drank much before the op, now even less.

My usually daily menu consist of

Breakfast-- 1 weetabix and ssm or yogurt with small banana/strawberries
Lunch------ 2 Ryveta Philly or cheese melts and reduced fat pâté or toast n marmite.
Dinner----- 2 inch square lasagne, corn beef hash, chicken dinner, boil in the bag fish ans 6 chips, egg on toast, shepards pie etc etc.
Snack if needed. - lolly, skips or Freddie frog.

I lose either 1 2 3 or 4lbs a week.
I am 13 week out from Op and have lost 76lbs altogether 48 since the Op in 13 weeks.
Down from size 30 clothes too size 24.

Better than I thought now I write it down.

Anyway again thanks all and keep up the good weight loss...

I've got referral for the gym from my doctor. I've got a consult on Tuesday and induction on Friday. I'm so excited, I've got 8lb to go to goal so hoping this will do that for me :D
 
Hi all. First of all, I am really enjoying reading your menus... Got a few food inspirations from them. I am almost three months out and lost almost three stone. I am still learning to make my own meals. Will be using my slow cooker more often. I am registered blind which makes measuring and weighing food quite tricky. Anyway, thought I'd post my menus... Feedback is welcome. Yesterday: B: nothing as I woke up late... Don't worry, not a habit. L: atkins advantage milk chocolate shake D: home made salad with lettuce, peppers, sweetcorn and mixed seafood with a dressing made of Fage, tablespoon of light mayo and vinegar, with some dried mixed herbs... Was yummy. S: 250 ml of ss milk S: roasted salted peanuts... Sadly a few too many. Today: B: few sips of Whey chocolate protein shake blended with strawberries... Didn't like it and was full after just a few mouthfuls, 100 ml ss milk Lunch: leftover of yesterday's salad Drinks on both days, nas squash, watered down orange juice. Wish I liked plain water. Need to get some still flavoured water.
 
Keep seeing fage - what is it? ? am I being really dumb?
