bypass daily menu -

Just be a bit careful - I dump on honey. Even a teaspoon full :(

Such a shame but we all have a certain food nightmare
I am fine with most sweet stuff it's fruit causes dumping with me satsumas bananas and kiwis are my worst but I love them just miss them raspberries and honey only a bit on Greek yoghurt is just yummy I also like melon slush Wizz up melon then put on a try then freeze just nice

Forgot to add, tea tonight was three fishfingers, six oven chips and 2 tablespoons of baked beans. Making an options hot chocolate with milk for a snack... Need this after a rubbish day. Plus it's good protein.

Ines you have really cheered me up with your menu considering you only had surgery in April as I love fish fingers and would be devastated if I could never eat them again. I didn't think you could eat that much so soon after surgery as I thought I would always be eating ultra small portions but what you have posted sounds great Sx

Oh dear I hope I don't eat too much... Was just about full afterwards though, I didn't feel like I was overeating. I actually didn't think I would ever have fishfingers again, but then someone told me how much protein they have, and I also saw other people have breaded fish on here... So I thought I would give it a go. Wouldn't do it often though. X

You can still eat reasonable portions post-op, just far less than we used to. Everyone is different though on what they can manage. I was surprised what I could eat, but it's great, you get to still have lovely things, just about a tea plate size instead. :)

Absolutely, before the op I would've had six fishfingers and countless ofven chips... lol. Oh and pudding and/or sweets after.

It has given me so much hope reading this thread. I'm only one week post op and feel I am coping well on the liquid stage. About to move onto sloppy purees tomorrow so will be more focussed knowing that normal food is on the horizon within weeks xx

Menu for today:

S: banana after workout.
L: half a pack of Waitrose mixed beans salad and maybe a melba toast.
D: Either just a prawn cocktail, or a steak, peas and mushroom as we are going out.
Drinks: mainly nas squash, Flavoured water, orange juice.
Exercise: 15 minutes warmup on exercise bike, 20 minutes body weight exercises such as situps, press ups and hip thrusts, 10 minutes on bike, 25 to 30 minutes sprint intervals on exercise bike. Also thinking of buying a protein bar, as I will be exercising a lot today.

Hope you can get it sorted at last. Okay, things went really bad today so had to change menu. Only had protein bar for lunch, rest of protein shake for snack and going to have half a pack of mixed beans salad, one melba toast and smoked salmon for tea.

Maya, on my first endoscopy on week 3 post-op they found H-Pylori infection (as an added bonus) had to take stupid dose amoxicillin and metronidazole at the same time. Devastating effects on my guts. Nice !!

I hope they sort this out for you Maya.

Paula, did you get your results yet?

My menu today -
Breakfast - Toast
Lunch - Chicken salad
Dinner - Tuna steak with low fat cream cheese, kale and mashed potato
Snack - Grapes and half a packet of square crisps.

Tea, water.

I have my consultation with the gym tomorrow. They give you this key that you plug in the machines and it sets your pace etc that you have worked out with your instructor. Very much looking forward to it :)

Hey Shelley that Jim Method sounds good. Wish I could do that, it would help me since I can't set the pace on touch screens due to not being able to see. Great idea, hope more gyms will take that idea on bord.

Yeah they should definitely do that. I think it would be helpful for a lot of people :) x
