bypass daily menu -

I got my results instantly. They put the sample into what looked like a CSI drug testing kit and it went pink indicating a positive. The two stupidly high dose antibiotics combination were worse than the original problem. They found another and equally hideous infection at the next endoscopy that I had last week, but thankfully I got a stretch at the same time.

Hope they sort you soon.

Oh dear sounds like you to not having had the best time recently.

Have a better day all. xx

Emailed my surgeon today. Slight delay but I hope to get some anti-spasmodic drugs on Sunday or Monday at the latest. Then at last I should be able to eat.

I had 4 prawns on Sunday night and 3 late last night. I seem to have a 15 minute window late at night where my stomach isn't in spasm and will actually keep food down. Felt totally stuffed on both these 'meals' though.

Today have had 2 large Costa skinny latte's and some Clementine juice. Been a really good day calorie wise.

Still liquids for me, so no point posting a menu. Back off to the doctor for me tomorrow.

I don't think they will Ines. For me it's just bad luck I think. I could have picked something up off a patient or one of my work mates. I'm just getting on with it. Your doing great, so just keep thinking positive :)

Hope people are feeling better today. I'm feeling pretty good right now as I'm now a size 14! I didn't think this day would ever come. I'm even considering that it might be possible to get smaller but we will see. Just being able to shop anywhere now, even though I can't because I'm broke lol, is an amazing feeling.

Today's Menu -

Breakfast - Slice of toast with diabetic jam.
Lunch - Boiled egg and ham salad.
Dinner - Children's carvery. Unfortunately this came back up but think it was because I ate it too fast.
Snack - Strawberries and an Ice lolly.

I'm still the same Shelley, had to submit another sample today. So pleases to hear your a size 14 that's fantastic!! I think I will be if this illness continues.

I did manage a bit of mash and gravy today. But it had the same effect as all food did :-(. Never mind, I still enjoyed it! Hope everyone has a lovely evening.

Paula :)

Sorry to hear theres not improvement for you Paula :(

Thanks Paula, it's such a shame yours didn't turn out to be a bug too. Obviously it would be great if you were a size 14 but don't want you to get there this way. Far too miserable way to lose weight. Hope you are feeling better soon xx

At least they're looking after you :)

True, my GP's don't really know a lot about bypass surgery though. So I think they're treading carefully. My only worry is I'm on annual leave at the mo and due to return to work on Monday. I don't know what I'm going to do if it hasn't cleared up by then.
