bypass daily menu -

Hi all good morning got home from night shift just after 10 am. Tummy lot better today, back to normal today with food. Just left work bout 10 minute walk to the bus stop half way down pain started needed the toilet got on the bus was really desparate had to txt my parents who were shopping in our little town they met me off the bus and ran me home bloody hell very close call was absolutely crippled. What a few days I am having think some body has made a vodoo dolly of me haha have A GOOD WEEKEND ALL xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
 
B. boiled egg with LF mayonnaise
D. Chicken breast, booked egg, lentils, 1/3 tin veg soup

Fluids. 1l nas ribena. 2cups tea, 1 coffee

Rubbish day food wise as was out most of the day.
 
B: 2 dessertspoons of Jordans no added sugar muesli
L: 2 crispbreads with dairylea
D: roast pork peas carrots sprouts & gravy
Snacks melon & grapes

diluted apple juice and flavoured water
 
B toast wholemeal
l beef in gravy mash, cannage, turnip, carrots mint sauce n onion
d 3 cream crackers 2 cheese triangles

s 2 digestives

Bad weekend. Picking and eating chocolate yesterday.
Breakfast - toast
Snack - cheese
Lunch - Sunday lunch
Snack - hot cross bun toasted
Tea - more Sunday lunch
Snacks, slither of cake and low fat custard.
Need to lay off bread stuff.

Been off the grid for a bit, been feeling really grotty and tired.

B: choc protein and banana smoothie.
S: costa skinny latte.
L: chicken and soft cheese with 2 crackerbreads.
S: yogurt and berries.
D: 2 pulled pork mini wraps with guacamole and salad.
 
Hi I am tired to. Shattered.

Breakfast - belvita biscuits
Snack - banana
Lunch - cod in a cheese sauce with broccoli from canteen. Awful.
Snack - another banana
Tea - having steak and veg when I get in
Will have a low fat hot choc I think.

I have been feeling tired too but when it comes to bed time not tired. Have had my B12 TODAY THE practice nurse did it and she asked me bout my bypass as usually just see one of the ordinary nurses. She is writing a piece on bariatrics fro a degree or some qualification she said she was doing some research so I asked what would she like to know I told her I was becoming quite an expert haha x. She just asked how far out I was and how did I cope had I had any problems told her bout my bowel colic episodes and she wanted to know if I had health problems prior to bypass which for me was no. so she was very interested indeed makes a nice change when folks really want to know and listen to ya xx

L: H/m veg soup with some of yesterdays roast pork
D: spanish chicken & salad
Snacks a few cashews
 
Yesterday:

B. porridge
L. 2 egg omelette and 1/3 tin baked beans
D. Chicken breast, 3 sprouts, 3 carrots, tbsp baked beans

Fluids: 2L nas ribena, 3 mugs tea

Today:

B. milky coffee
L. 2 crackerbread and LF cottage cheese
D. 2 fillets baked cod, 5 sprouts, 4 carrots

Fluids: 2L nas ribena, 5 mugs tea, 1 coffee
 
Weigh in day, put on a whole Kg. Not surprised, hormones are in major flux. Doing a fast day today, didn't do one last week because i felt too ill.

B: 200ml skimmed milk and small banana.
L: Protein bar and apple.
D:Cod fillet with stir fry veg and new potatos

Hi all
Breakfast - 1 fig role then go ahead when I got to work
Lunch - egg salad with pasta and noodles from salad bar
Snack - banana
Tea - scotch egg and cheese
Snack - small piece of chocolate cornflakes from aldi
Drinks - coffee and 45 cal low fat hot choc

11.7 stone this morn. Still maintaining ok. Tend to loose Mon and Tues when I am at work then put it on on my days off. Would have lost loads more if I had been full time!
Had op 22 Feb 13, referred at 20 stone 6 and then lost a stone before op.
Hope everyone is ok x

L: Other half of the sandwich, fun size bag of malteasers, and a pack of monster munch
S: satauma and a handful of grapes, 1 chicken select from macdonalds
D: H/M soup with pasta and egg
S: handful of nuts

Hi all not bad eating day yesterday but only because half my bloody tooth fell off. Managed after 3 calls from receptionist to get a cancellation app. yesterday afternoon in the middle of my 24 hr shift. Nutha £49 only paid that in October then had the tooth taken out in November my teeth are falling to pieces. My dentist says the damage is done in our teens but by the time we are in mid to late 40's the damage really shows and things start to fall apart. Was shakn like a leaf. But did it.

Finally got round to updating my stats, i had my bypass on the 20th february 2013 i started my journey at 21 stone 7 pounds and a dress size 28/30, 11 months later i weigh 10 stone 11 pounds and a dress size 10/12 i am over the moon and really chuffed!

Todays menu:

B: Kellogg's nutty clusters with semi skimmed milk
S: satsuma and a fromage frais
L: Half a cheese and cucumber and salad cream sandwich on brown bread and a pack of monster munch
S: Fun size malteasers, grapes, small Pepperami
D: Broccoli and Tomato and cheese tart , a little home made chicken curry (no rice) and a popadom
