Had a very bad food day yesterday, but it taught me a valuable lesson about my current relationship with food. Everyone has the odd blow out on food, and its not worth feeling guilty about it. It was our ward clark's 60th, and lots of cakes and biscuits etc. I had some, and enjoyed them, so did everyone else! But one of our students said to me that we she was surprised I was eating it, because I was so good. She said she was envious of the fact that i really enjoy food that is healthy and good for me. She told me that all she does is eat crap, because its all she likes. I never thought about it before, but in the last year I have truly trained myself to enjoy a healthy diet. And this is the aim of the game when it comes to long term success. I really feel good about that.

So yesterday was:

B; Atkins bar. Coffee.
S: 2 babybel.
L: Blue cheese and chicken salad wrap.
S; Skinny latte.
D: Chicken curry with poppadoms and 2 tbsp rice (couldn't finish restriction kicked in - nice to know I still have it).

And this is what I ate throughout (spread out over 8 hours) the day from the party.

1/4 raisin cookie
1/4 white chocolate cookie.
Sliver chocolate cake.
Sliver carrot cake.
2 small chocolate biscuits.
2 brownie bites.
3 Rice caramel rice crispy square bites.
1 chocolate roll mini bite.

Italian Rose hope the tummy is feeling better today. I find buscopan helps with these kind of situations helps push through the offending food items. After having a bout like that especially if you have any pain my pain tends to come lower down if I have had something stuck and it could be a bit of meat unchewed properly it gets stuck in the bowel and that can be painful and several visits to the loo later and all is sorted. But can leave your insides sore and bruised like feeling. 4 days on buscopan and relatively dry foods no bread and pasta or rice help it get better. I amno stranger to these episodes. x

This horrid pic above was me when I was 40 with my husband when our son had his 17th birthday party. Gross isn't it? xxx I am now 48 was huge for a very long time yet still not small still very chunky xx

It's not a horrid picture it makes you feel bad but having a picture like that shows how far you have come and also lets people who are the same size understand that they too can get to look how you are now and that you understand how they are feeling

But girlie...u r so getting there! I agree the picture is inspirational to people who are just starting their journey. Xxx

Thank you both. I have been struggling and never ever want to go back there, weight has really plateau'd out now. Just have to live my life and keep it reigned in as much as possible How much have you lost now Mark?
