bypass daily menu -

Hi Chrisa I now am 12 stone 10 lb from 32stone but told by my gp to put 5 lb on
But like you hate my old photos but the nurse said they are part of my journey

Italian Rose hope the tummy is feeling better today. I find buscopan helps with these kind of situations helps push through the offending food items. After having a bout like that especially if you have any pain my pain tends to come lower down if I have had something stuck and it could be a bit of meat unchewed properly it gets stuck in the bowel and that can be painful and several visits to the loo later and all is sorted. But can leave your insides sore and bruised like feeling. 4 days on buscopan and relatively dry foods no bread and pasta or rice help it get better. I amno stranger to these episodes. x

Thanks Chrisa, i will get some! I did think Buscopan was for people with IBS so was always too scared to take it! But if you recommend, i shall try. It was all better this morning, all though (excuse the lots of info) my bowels this morning were really soft and that hasn't happened once, post op, my tummy really didnt like the tuna sandwich yesterday, im sure!!

Dont beat yourself up, I suspect you aren't quite eating enough. At this early stage there are some simple dietary rules that work really well. Try to eat 6 small meals a day with a good source of protein at each meal. Try to the cut out the simple carbs (ie crisps etc) and eat more complex carbs. Good sources of complex carbs are fruit, veg and wholegrains.

The first 6-9 months really are a golden time, its where you can really maximise your loss, just by following the plan. And this is the time to change the eating habits of a lifetime.
