Gastric Bypass Daily Menus

Today has been much better:-

B- 1x peanut butter & marmite on toast
L- brunch break bar
T- three cheese ravioli with tomato & roasted vegetable sauce.

today for me

Breakfast = 1 wholemeal toast with philly on it

Dinner = 1 bread with a slice of ham

Tea = chicken, lowfat korma sauce and 2 table spoons of rice

Snacks = nuts and grapes

and nice one Allie 5lbs you go girl
 
Cheers T, how do you get on with rice? I love rice, but could'nt eat it last time I tried :(
 
went down easy Allie you will have to try it again at some point. I also had boiled egg the other day and was ok with that, made me sick last time I had it

a little up and down at the mo either filling up to much and feeling sick or feeling washed out but will get there. Have my 6 week check up tomorrow waiting to see how much i have lost. have a long way to go though. I am glad your eating is getting better its a bit miserable not being able to keep anything down. Janey:):)
 
Yesterday -

B - babybel
L - 3 crackers from a lunchable and a side order of queasy
D - Minted lamb crispbake and 2 tbsp baked beans with queasy for dessert
Snacks - crisps

Struggled to eat yesterday.
 
Yesterday:

B: banana, yogurt
L: sliced chicken, cottage cheese & clementine
D: Grilled lamb in pita bread w/lettuce & tomato, new potato
Snack: protein drink, pecans
 
I was feeling queasy lol

My menu for today not good but have been on a course from work

Breakfast = 1 wholemeal toast with philly

dinner = 3 water crackers with cheese triangle

Tea = rice and spicy beans

snacks = 1 buscuit, bag of wotsits
 
Today has been awful, morning sickness has been raging.

B - 1 babybel
Snack - 2 plain biscuits
L - 1/4 chicken/bacon sandwich
D - 1/2 tuna mayo toastie (brown bread) followed by lots of nausea.

Still feeling sick now :(
 
Yesterday was a bad day for me, I'm in sooo much pain with my eye. My eating is not going well at all :(

B- nothing
L- 1/4 of a tuna & mayo sandwich, which had to come back up. A little bit later I had 1 x crackercrisp with a cheese triangle.
T- Chip shop style cod fillet, with 1x hash brown & beans. This was awful and just hurt, so after a couple of forks it had to come back up....ouch!
Snacks- 1 x crackercrisp with a cheese triangle & a home made banana & strawberry milk shake.

Hi Teen, my blumin eye is worse than the big scar from the bypass lol. Its really knocking me about and doesn't seem to be improving yet. The Dr said to give it at least a week to two, on the steroid drops. I'm taking Paul's codeine & Tramadol its that bad :( I've got these little ulcer things going on now too....ouch ouch bl**dy ouch!

My scan is on Monday evening, tbh my side feels better now, but I will go anyway to make sure all is well.
My eating today has been naff, here goes:-

B- 1 x weetabix with semi-skimmed milk & sweetener.
L- nothing.
T- nothing yet, I might try some tuna mayo on its own in a bit, I do fancy a Jam sandwich, which is odd as I never used to eat that before the op. But I will give bread a miss cuz it just aint going down lately.
 
Not had the best day eating wise lol, 3 1/2 hours at the hospital saw to that!

B - ginger nut biscuit on waking, wholemeal toast with lf philly at 10.30am
L - kinda didn't happen
snacks - bite of cheesy garlic bread, 2 bites of meat pizza (boys had dominos for tea)
D - kids fish pie
snacks - weight watchers mint ice cream. baby needs it.
 
Not to bad for me

Breakfast = ready brek

Dinner = 1 wholemeal bread with flora

Tea = small piece of salmon, 1/2 a new potato, cauliflower & peas

Snack = banana
 
Yesterday:

B - milky coffee & yogurt smoothie (fresh strawberries & banana YUMMY)
L - pepperami, mini babybel & glass oj
D - 1 small slice roast beef & gravy, couple spoons roasted veg, 1 tiny new potato and a couple forks full of salad
Snack: protein drink(between lunch and dinner). After dinner small scoop light ice cream w/diced strawberries, tiny bit of light whip and toasted almonds

Had a couple of friends over for dinner and did the whole meat and two veg followed by ice cream. Was lovely, was able to have a little of everything. This wouldn't be my everyday eating habits but was wonderful as a treat. Oh, also had a 1/2 glass of a great red wine before dinner.

Breakfast = nothing

Dinner = 1/2 piece of wholemeal toast

Tea = 2 crumpets with flora spread

Snacks = 6 brazil nuts
 
B - wholemeal toast with lf soft cheese
L - ham and lf soft cheese s/wich on wholemeal bread
D - tapas platter at YeeRah Liverpool
Snacks - couple of plain biscuits, 1/2 pack monster munch
