Gastric Bypass Daily Menus

my first day of this
b/f 2 slices bavarian ham wrapped around 2 slices of pinapple
lunch 200g prawns 1/4 mango
tea salmon salad sandwich no crusts
snack pate on crispread
 
good day today

Breakfast = 1 wholemeal toast with a laughing cow triangle

Lunch = 1 oatcake with lowfat melted cheese

Tea = 50g pork, 2 new potatos,broccilli and cauli

snacks = brazil nuts, babybel

B - wholemeal toast with marmalade

L - salmon salad

T - cod mornay with mash, mange tout green beans and carrots

snacks apple and pieces of easter egg
 
Today -

B - yogurt & 1/2 a pear
L - Hummus, babybel light & pepperami, also a small fist of pretzels
D - Salsa chicken (chicken, roasted veg covered with a homemade salsa sauce and shredded cheese baked in the oven) with spoon of mexi rice

What I ate today and what I wanted to eat, very very different:(. I wanted to eat everything in sight:eek::eek::eek:. I wanted to shove handfulls of pretzels in my mouth. I didn't but I did have to put them in the garbage so I could stop thinking about them.

Stupid carbs, they are a gateway drug I tell you, next I'll be on the street begging for a McDonald's apple pie saying I will do anything for one...
 
done a bit better on the protein front today

Breakfast = 1/2 a muller yogurt and a baby bel

Dinner = 50g of chicken and a baby bel

Tea = 50g chicken 2 new pots and brocilli and cauli

Snacks = 1 satsuma, 2 laughing cow triangles and 25g of crunchy soya beans

Not as good today

Breakfast = 1 egg omlette with mushrooms

Dinner = 1 piece of wholemeal bread toasted with a cheese triangle and a ww yogurt

Tea = 50g chicken, 100g jacket spud with a bit of salad and 50g of coleslaw

Snacks = cheese triangle, ww yogurt
 
Teen it's a lot better than previous, so don't be hard on yourself!

Dinner = salmon fillet, new potato, brocilli and parsley sauce

Tea = 2 crispbreads with 2 cheese triangles

Snacks = pint of semi skimmed milk
 
Tuna and Bean Salad

(easy to make, no cooking involved, great for boosting your protien intake)

Ingredients
2 x tins Tesco Whole food 3 bean salad (410gm each)
2 x tesco tuna chunks in spring water (185gm each)
small finely diced onion
2 sticks celery finely diced
small bunch finely chopped fresh parsley
zest & juice from one lime/lemon

carefully mix all ingredients together, adding the zest and juice last.

Total Nurtitien

bean salad - 280 calories - 2.4gms fat/protien

tuna - 140 calories - 32.8gms protien

Parsley - superfood

Yesterday:

B - mini babybel, pepperami, milky coffee
L - Happy monkey smoothie, small apple, another mini babybel, couple of pretzels
D - Tortilla pizza with pepperoni, salad
Snack - light ice cream, small scoop topped with toasted almonds, protein bullet

Been wanting to eat & eat this last week. Plan to make a fresh start today, try to up my protein and cut excess carbs, they may be making me feel snacky. So bye bye ice cream, so long pretzels for now ;););).
 
Today for me more calories than ever 940 and 62g of protein

Breakfast = 1 wholemeal toast with a cheese triangle

Dinner = cheese oatcake

Tea = 2 salmon fish fingers with mushy peas

Snacks = baby bel and 25g soya beans, 2 satsumas

been away camping with friends.....ooh dear

B - 1 bacon rasher, half griddled tomatoe and 1/2 slice of toast
L - few quavers and a cheese and ham wholemeal roll
T - gammon boiled potatoes, peas and carrots
Later - wine and a few choccies

OOOOH DEAR...but had a lovely weekend and its a one off x x x

Tea = quorn fillet with baked beans and coleslaw

snacks = blueberries
 
i had a fab time Tina thenks, it was nice to have a weekend away where everything didn't revolve around food.

B - 1 ryvita with daiylea light triangle

L - small portion of chinese chow mein

Tea - 1 slice ham and pineapple pizza and couple of oven chips

snacks, bits of chicken and bacon i picked off a sandwich at a meeting and small piece of easter egg
 
Today:

L - bowl of cereal, small apple
D - tortilla pizza w/mushrooms & some grapes
Snack: chicken and cream cheese roll, protein bullet
 
Big 27hour shift at work from yesterday afternoon till this afternoon so food not to good

Breakfast = 1 Crumpet with baked beans

Dinner = Roast beef, 1 new potato and brocilli

Tea = 2 cheese triangles
 
Today

Breakfast =1 round of cheese on toast

dinner =3 quorn mini scotch eggs

Tea = 100g jacket spud with Pastrami and colslaw

Snack= ww yogurt

B - porridge with honey

L - chicken and bacon salad with low fat salad dressing

Tea - Cottage pie with brussel sprouts

Snax - cockles, sugar free angel delight and a few pickled onion monster munch
