Gastric Bypass Daily Menus

hiya today i have had:
b = curriosly cinamen cereal.
d = slice ham, slice low fat cheese, spring onion, low fat coleslaw,sweetcorn.
t = fish portion, small portion baked beans.
s = 2 plums, veg soup, laughing cow cheese triangle
 
hi everyone

b = weight watchers yoghurt and a plum

d = half tin minestrone soup, 2 low fat cheese triangles and a plum

t = very small pork steak, small jacket potatoe, 2 spoons baked beans.( through half of this up?)
 
B - 250ml semi skimmed milk
L - Ham, 1 slice brown bread, coleslaw
T - 3 fish fingers and spaghetti hoops
S - 3 cherry tomatoes, 1 low fat yoghurt.

Today has been shocking food wise...all carbs! Not good

B - half a slice of wholemeal toast
D - Jacket spud with chicken salsa
T - tatty hash with pickled cabbage
 
sal some days just happen but even though you have had 2 carb laden meals its better than not eating anthing and within that you have had 4 portions of veg at least.

my day has not been fantastic and even though i had prepared tea before i went out i hadnt planned for being stuck at the hospital for 8 hrs
B 2 ryvita cheese and grapes
L jacket pots cheese and beans
S scone
D chicken tikka marsala, rice, greenbeans

so like yo a carb laden day but hey ho tomorrows another day
 
Howdy everyone, where have you all gone?

Here is my eating lately:

B - oatmeal made with ss milk with chopped nuts & dried fruit
L - small wedge of crustless quiche, slices of salami & cheese, clementine
D - tortilla pizza

Snacks - coffee protein drink, some popcorn, 2 squares no-sugar-added chocolate
 
B milky coffee 2 slices Bacon 1 slice whole meal toast ketchup
L hot buffet consisting of chicken curry, sheperds pie, lasagna 1 spoon on each finished with some cheese and bisc
D 2 ryvita cheese and grapes
 
I love this thread, it is soooooooooo useful. Plus, seeing people eat a bacon buttie!!! (and not 6 which is what I would eat now). When I first started down this road I imagined eating slop for the rest of my life but now I see a whole new food life ahead of me.

Hi all - my diet seems to have to have gone to pot recently. Not so much eating bad things all the time, just extreems like way too much of not enough!
Today Im climbing back on the wagon and going to make a difference to my weight!
I propose to have:
A protein shake for breakfast along with an apple and or a banana
Chicken salad for lunch
A protein based tea!
If I wish to snack in between (I shouldnt until tonight) I shall try fruit or nuts!
Wish me luck! hehe

The no added sugar chocolate is from Sainsburys ;) it's their own brand, and is actually quite good (coming from a cadbury/galaxy snob).
 
Thanks Shel, I had written off chocolate for the rest of my life :cry: but this gives me hope, even if it's just a teeny weeny lil bit now and then. Thank you! :D

Im gonna start posting my menus............

Will start with yesterdays.........

B - Slice of Toast with peanut butter on
L - Skinny Latte with Baked Potatoe with Tuna
D - Lamb in Curry Sauce with Rice
S - Handful of Raw Cashew nuts
 
B - protein shake banana and apple
D - chicken salad
T - lentil and adzuki beans
Snacks - SF jelly and handful of raw hazelnuts and brazil nuts
 
B - Pitta Bread and Hummous
L - Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni
T - Roasted Chicken tossed in Balsamic and Cashews + Side Salad
 
B - protein shake, banana

D - half a portion of medium sushi from tescos
T - 2 slices of bacon and 1 wholemeal toast
S - pack of twiglets
 
brekkie: alpen with ss milk

lunch: poached egg and baked beans


dinner: chicken in white wine sauce with afew potato wedges

snacks: skinny latte x2
 
B - protein shake, banana

D - half a portion of medium sushi from tescos
T - 2 slices of bacon and 1 wholemeal toast
S - pack of twiglets

i daren't tell you what i have eaten today its embarrassing lol :eek: but i think i will start writing down what i eat from now on :)

long live galaxy and cadburys lol....I realy think they need to be looking at making sugar free versions of their faves :p
