Need some help!! I'm grazing like mad, been really down this week and going back to habbits I thought I'd sorted:

Tuesday 19th

6am - 1x weetabix & S/S milk
10am - 1x Babybel
12.30 - 1 piece of brown bread + 1 small tin of baked beans
2pm - 1 x babybel
3pm - tiny bit of light philadelphia
4pm - small packet of mini cheddars (170cals)

I'm up to about 800cals for the day so far but I'm more worried that I cant stop thinking about food. Yesterday was the same but yesterday I was eating sweet stuff. Need to snap out of it - anyone got any ideas?

xxx

Hi Porpo!

Its easy to fall back into bad habbits isn't it!

I can only really tell you what I do to stop myself falling back into the dreaded 'grazing'.

I make sure I have three meals in a day and I have 2 planned snacks. If I feel I need to eat between meals then I ONLY have the planned snack - otherwise I would end up raiding the fridge and eating non-stop. I also try and plan ahead as much as I can.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't!

I also find that knowing I'm going to post my every bite on here helps me to reign in most of the head hunger.

I'm sure more experianced post-oppers will be able to help you a little more!

Keep your snacks as high protein, low carb and low fat as you can! Other than that try eating more at mealtimes and no liquids for 2 hours after.

B - 3 figs and a pint of milk
D - half a spud with chicken curry
T - Faggots with brown rice
Snacks - half an apple

Should really take my own advice and stop eating so late!!!
