Message to Myself ... diary to remind me where I have been and where I am going

Speedy recovery Michelle. I am off to Dolan park tomorrow for a wee top up. I am glad u r happy with ur new Ben & jerry, as I call them.

Two pounds gained = Two new boobies

Thanks all ... Blisters from the dressings are the worst thing, and tight bindings. As far as I can see at the moment, I am going to be smiling with perkiness :) everyone wants to keeping prodding me ... More fascinated in the silicone boobies than the silicone band LOL

Mis, it's lovely to hear from you :D hope all is going well for you ... You are only just over the border from me ... I think we will have to do coffee and 'mini' cupcakes one day x

Jo, lucky you being in turkey (with your man?). I had to swap a holiday for boobies this year, but I cannot wait to think of trying sexy one or two piece next year :D hope you are enjoying your break x

Anyway, I have family coming to visit this weekend and for once am looking forward to being waited on hand and foot. And feeding my body to recovery ... Mmmm

well done michelle rest up and let everyone look after you.im sure they are a great bit of tit oops mean kit.lol.....

Best wishes with your new boobies, Michelle ! :)

Would love that Michelle :)

Still gonna update re my boobie op as its all part of my weightloss journey ...

Very bloated. Apparently I am going to look like a mini whale for one to three weeks due to water retention from the medication. A pound a day gained so far, but I know it's not from overeating. Four inches gone on waist, two on rib cage so surgical bra is very tight. Stomach looks like I am four to five months pregnant and I can no longer see my port. I must admit that while I cannot wait for the bloated feeling to go, I do look better for those few extra pounds on my face and chest  make me look younger :)

Binding is off :) massive blister due to Velcro rubbing so nurse said benefits of fresh air to dry the wound outweigh the boobs dropping quicker by using the binder. I suppose I can manage having that uplifting feeling for a bit longer  no painkillers yesterday, so the bloating is diminishing a little. I am currently at 10st10lbs and ate like a horse yesterday. Going to just go with the flow of what my body says it wants till Sunday. Then Monday is a new week, back at work and back to a more structured regime. I can swing my arms around without pain but not able to lift or I will damage the muscles in my chest ... No ironing/hoovering/cleaningor me  no dog walking either unless I can bundle them in the car, if I manage to drive ok, that is. Hubby flew back to USA this morning. Lovely bunch of friends. 1. Taking me to Dolan park for my 7-day checkup and lunch tomorrow, 2. Making me dinner tomorrow night and practice drive in car, 3. Coming to clean my house on Saturday and make lunch. How lucky am I?! Then my daughter visiting Sunday. I really feel my life is MY life now. Things such as friends, health and happiness are far more rewarding than financial stuff and FOOD :thankyou:

Glad things are going ok.

Back down to 10st7lbs again today.

7 day checkup. All healing well apart from the blister which needs a couple more days without the binder to allow it to recover. Going to try driving tonight, as I have an interview tomorrow and either a three hour drive or train journey ... Will decide then how I get there. Got another appointment at Dolan Park in two weeks time to remove a couple of stitches which are not dissolvable. Otherwise all the others should disappear by themselves over the next couple of weeks. Not had a look at the stitches yet, so no idea of the after effects of the op, but I will take photos tonight

Wow, they look great at the moment. I will have scarring obviously, but I don't think it will be THAT bad.

I drove last night, so I feel ok to drive to Nottingham for interview today. Gotta get my skates on....bath, hair wash, dry and straighten, make-up, feed dogs and myself...all in 45 minutes. Eek, I love to live life on the edge :gimi:

Hey miss boobylicious! Glad to hear all is well and youre looking and sounding perkier :D

Hope today goes well, is this an internal role or you jumping ship???? Good luck either way..guessing you have the usual to get thru of competences, presentation etc etc (yawn) such a ball ache!!!!!!! Let us know how it goes! stand tall, skinny and pointy lol :D xx

What a mare ... Another story I am gonna be able to relay ...

Reached Nottingham, no problem ready for my competency based interview at 9.30 with current employer :checkmark green:
Well prepared and early :checkmark green:
Rapport build and first interview question :checkmark green:
Shooting pain, left chest expanded to double size
Faint twice so interviewer has to put me in recovery position
As my temperature drops, while laid on the floor, i ask to continue my interview questions ... Interviewer does not take me up on offer! Damn it, I so want the job :sigh:
A&E in Nottingham then transfer to Dolan Park near birmingham :ambulance: :ambulance:
Within ten minutes of arrival at six thirty see consultant and then am whisked into operating theatre for 1 1/2 hr operation to remove massive hematoma (apparently now i am in the 'it happens to just 2%' club) and replace left implant. Now thats what i call good service! Three boobs and two different surgeons LOL :D
Hubby hot wings it back from USA which he flew back to, just three days before :bananalove:
Now home, vowing to take medical advice to the letter of the word from hereonin ...
Gotta smile, it could only happen to me ... On a positive note however, I was told when I was discharged this morning that i looked absolutely fabulous in my interview suit ... :party0049:
