Hi web, I'm two weeks post op today and woke up realising I could lie in my tummy again! Yay!!! So for me at least symptoms are good. Or mostly gone. Still having what feels like wind pain occasionally and my scars are a little bit sore if I do too much. But really it's such an improvement. Our bodies are amazing! How are you doing? Xx
 
Hello all. I am using the app on my phone so this may not read as I hope. I an at the hospital. Good luck to my fellow oppers today. Well it is utter chaos here. It turns out I should have had an injection last night but break down in communication. The anaesthetist who I really dislike is jumping up and down about it and is generally unhappy as I seem to have bypassed him this time around. I have had all the checks. I saw whoever is assisting the surgeon today and he asked why I was not being converted to a bypass. I told him because I was not offered that as an option. He said they will have a look when they go in. So bypass has now been added to the consent form and I have signed it. Frankly I could have done without that especially as all that is likely to happen today is they will remove the band and send me home hopefully later today.

Sorry to hear that tb. They really need to do their infighting somewhere else! But I'm sure he's a good anesthetist even if his human skills aren't great! Put your music on and drown them out with happy sounds. Take care xxx
 
good luck for today guys. ur nearly there,yay. I hope u all have a speedy recovery.
just spoke to my dietician and she was fab. told me my slip ups r ok. and im aloud to have pasta now.woho! also slow down in weight loss is normal.feeling positive atm
