Hi guys hope everyone is well and well done on you're weight loss. I hope you're feeling a lot better soon Amanda, you've had a lot to deal with these past couple of months. Take it easy Hun. Well I feel really embarrassed to say but im still not eating and drinking properly yet. I think when I go back to work on Monday and in to a proper routine I will find it easier, well I'm hoping so anyway. I didn't get my post op check up yesterday as I had to cancel it as I has an interview. I'm already working but it's in another part of the NHS. I'm really crap at interviews so in not holding my breath to get it. Hope yours goes well tomorrow Shelley, fingers crossed for you! I'm pleased ur feeling better paula and I hope things are starting to settle for you chrisa. Oh forgot to say I stayed the same this week :-( but again due to not eating enough!!! Xxx
 
Im sure you will sail through that interview tomorrow shelleymarie... I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you xx
 
Cannot wait till I can eat like this. I am just 7 days post on and still on liquids!

so nice to see you posting again dimond.... Will they just send you another post op check appointment? hopefully you are right, and once you are more into a routine with work etc., you will be able to settle into a better eating pattern... xx

Hi all have stayed tha same again today, not surprising really, not had enough fluids just haven tbeen able to drink enough just no time n too much to do, I have been really stressed this last week but hopefull have settled down again want to be in the 14's am still dead on 15, so nutha week to wait, also not had time to exercise apart from running round like a headless chicken, am exhausted. Well done to all of you who have lost weight this week and hope the job interview ent well yesterday Dinond and that yours goes well today Shelley, enjoy the day everyone xx
 
Not surprising you havent lost this week chrisa with all the stress you have had!! Hopefully next week will be a better one for you xxx
 
Thanks everyone. Your good wishes have worked and I was offered the job during the interview! I start December 14th. So very happy about that. Plus I did lose another 1lb over night so extremely happy today but will be putting the scales away now until next week :D

Today's menu -
Brunch - Scrambled egg, smoke salmon and a slice of wholemeal toast.
Dinner - Breaded chicken and reduced sugar baked beans.
Snack - Grapes and hf cheese.

Right off to the gym now, have a good day everyone :)

Thanks :D I'll be the receptionist at the vet practice I work at. I do random shift cover at the moment but it's very few hours and unreliable but this will be at least 32 hours a week with over time so will be able to have a stable position on my cv for the first time in years. My weight/health held me back for ages but nothing stopping me now. Hoping to train to be a vet nurse eventually if a position becomes available so this is a good foot in the door, plus I love it when I've covered it in the past :) x

Been a good day food wise

d. quorn chicken curry with chickpeas, potato , onion, sweet potato , peas and butternut squash - yummy and loads left too

snacks - banana, cheese/crackers

drinks - three skinny latte's , two large teas

Drinks 2 milky coffees,1 glass water and 3 glasses off nas cordial

Also walked around a football pitch with my little poodles

i'm new to this thread but have been reading it avidly getting meal ideas as i seem to be eating the same things all the time.

i noticed it was said that if you don't eat enough you won't lose as much weight. i had heard this before but wasn't sure if it was true. i eat as little as i possibly can but maybe should eat more to lose more.

any advice gratefully received;)
 
Hi and welcome Di, I'm just going off what everyone says about not eating enough. Hope you are having a good journey.
Well done Shelley I'm so pleased for you. I would love to work with animals instead of humans!!! I find out on Monday chrisa If Iv got job but like I said before I'm not holding my breath. Hope everyone is having a good evening xxx

D 100gms Sirloin steak grilled & 50gms Shitaki Mushrooms
S 20gms Biltong
S 2 x L/F Cheese triangles

Protein 85gms - Calories 675 - Carbs 29gms - Fat 17.5gms
Drinks - 25gm Protein shot - 1 litre water - 1 litre NAS Squash - cup black coffee - WW hot chocolate

It's my weigh day tomorrow and really hoping I have lost something this week after only a 1b last week..

Breakfast - three melba toast, lf Philly, ten grapes
Lunch - edame,pea,mint,tuna
Dinner - 3oz steak, spinach, 2 scallops

Elijah took me out to dinner at my favourite Italian, I had steak and scallops with rocket and spinach - amazing and I brought home the rest of the steak and spinach for tomorrow (it was a 12oz steak)
