That's my worry as well. But I feel if I have even less, I will pass out. As I get dizzy and overly tired already at times.

This journey makes me over think too much :S

same here , guess we have to accept our lot & hope that by being a bit slower it helps our skin , but i will admit to being jealous of those who lose 4, 5, 6 lb a week

Me too :( I get very disheartened. I keep searching for what I must be doing wrong.

I don't think u guys are doing anything wrong is love to hut those top figures too some weeks but to lose consistently and to lose two or more pounds a week is more than I gave done on ant diet especially by my current point (week eleven!) Xx

Remember slow and steady wins the race

Couldn't agree more with your comment,
At times I've realised I'm not a fast looser like others who have had a bypass, but 16 mths post op and I'm down 9 stone.
I say it's better for your body to loose slowly and steady,as your skin won't become too loose and my hair hasnt come out lots.

I hear what you are saying , but when you have had the op to help weight related health reasons its frustrating as you want faster results to improve health

Maybe I can't be pleased lol

We are secretly want fast results...as long as it's coming off that's all that matters isn't it?
You'll be a slinky lady in no time, believe me x

Ladies we are all different & so will our weight loss amounts each week or month. I've lost a steady 1-3 lbs a week sometimes only 1/2lb sometimes a gain rather than a loss.
I think depending on our start weight, how much we lose pre-op let alone the pre-op diet loss & how much we have to lose overall from our op weight affects how fast we lose.
In the last year or so since I joined this forum I've seen some ladies drop stones in the first weeks & months others like me who lose more slowly. Looking at their stats they seem be those who were bigger than me to start with had big initial losses whilst those who whilst still had a lot to lose had less than some seem to lose smaller amounts than those who were larger initially. I think % wise on an individual basis we are losing the same it's just in the weekly figures it looks as if others are doing better than us. They're not as such it's just the % Maths. Try not to worry or stress ladies as that sets us up to fail as it triggers old stress/comfort habits which if we don't fight off will make us fail this tool we have been given. Focus instead on eating healthily & learning to beat those old demons so you continue to be successful at our own rates for our own circumstances, take stalls as time to refocus & work on challenges without thinking its a failure, it's just our bodies taking stock & fighting against our new mindsets & determination that this time the losses are going to stay for good not the old yoyo habit of loss & gains.
Above all stay strong, you're all doing it, you're all winning, be proud of your successes so far & of those to come.

You ladies talk a lot of sense. I am no longer depressed about my weight loss like I was last week. Just need to stop comparing myself. As you are right Penny. On a percentage scale, it probably isn't too bad :D
