I wouldn't worry yvessa I think you are doing brilliantly - make an options, drink with milk in an eve for a top up xxx

Thanks for the advice May. I know I am exceptionally lucky to have had the smooth ride I have had so far and wish I could pass it on to some of those struggling. But am so scared of either not being healthy and not losing the weight.

Lol I know what you mean. I don't even dare think of cakes etc in case I dump or put on. Not sure which is worse lol

Yep since end of Jan I haven't had any processed, cakes, sweets, crisps, biscuits, fatty foods - and I don't intend on reintroducing them!

Did you eat "junk" before op Lucie?

Had a sweet tooth and a habit of the quick easy option of throw it in the oven for twenty minutes, now I eat 'clean' and pick things that are healthy for me

I feel indifferent to them. Don't know if the bypass has done that or I have done it out of fear lol

The horizon programme was probably right then :D

Today:

Breakfast disappeared down the loo lol

Lunch (at community lunch) managed a tiny bit of the homemade chicken curry and rice and was stuffed.

Dinner: grilled fish in coating (allowed in my book, but removed most the coating), spoon of macaroni cheese, veg, potato slices. Didn't eat potato or all the veg. Was stuffed. (some of my dinner did come back up on the end too :( )

Tea: homemade veg soup and added a small amount of grilled pork for protein.

Snack will be an options later if I fancy it.

Even though I have had some sickness today, I am still happy with the variety my pouch can handle. And glad that I now get the fullness feeling.

Drinks: tea and coffee with milk and added milk powder, NAS cordial

Not been counting proteins and calories. But feel I am doing well x

The cals are misleading though as they're for the whole quiche and I didn't touch the pastry which has most of the calories.

I think I am probably eating way more variety now than I used to pre op. I was in a food routine.

I am the same Yve. I am experimenting more with my cooking too. Using ideas I see on my fave food network UK programmes.

Nice to be eating tasty, quality food :D
