Hi Paula you look great! Chrisa have a good night out.
Breakfast - banana
Lunch - small fish from a chip shop (was out and about). No chips! Left alot of batter.
Tea - small chicken wrap with Philly
Snacks - hot choc instants. May have another as craving choc today.

I haven't ate all that yet. It's just pre planned, so I'm organised. I don't eat after 7.30pm, unless I'm going out for dinner. But I did that pre bypass too :)

That makes sense! Lol.

The problem tends to happen if you don't take into account your life. So I know the days I'm working late and plan accordingly. Same with days where I'm playing taxi.
 
I know I work 3-12hr shifts on and 2 hrs travel then 2 off then 4 on then 2 off earlys lates and nights in rotation just long days
 
Then do your weekly shop accordingly :) have 'shift day' plans and 'non shift day plans'
 
Had a friend stay last night...anniversary of her deceased fathers birthday so was on a mission to distract, we had champagne and a thin crust Dr oetker pizza...delish (ate two small slices - less than a quarter) and had some sweets with out film...

Todays menu-
B- half a bacon sandwich with low sugar ketchup no crust
L- scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream- did a cream tea for my American neighbour coming round ate 3/4 of scone n loved it
D- baked sea bream, bulgar wheat tabbouleh with celery, onion, garlic,bacon,mint,basil,sundried toms,omives,feta and lemon juice and black pepper ........delish....


Had an indulgent weekend but I'm just happy not to be throwing up! Strict now during the working week :) xx

Morning everyone,
did post a menu yesterday as i was alittle busy. I also plan my day inadvance so i know what i am having, but i am aware that thid isnt always for everybody. :)

Yesterdays Menu:
Breakfast: a Coffee with 2 sweetners
Lunch: Im afraid nothing :-s (wasnt very hungry yesterday)
Dinner: one minted lamb chop and half a cauliflower spere, and a little mint sauce.
S: 4 colin caterpillars (jelly sweeties from M&S)
Did have an amazing day food wise yesterday - i did drink ALOT of water though. I went out the night before (i didnt drink) and got in at 5am and was up at 8am yesterday morning so only had a couple of hours of sleep and last night i went to bed at half 1am and got up at 5am this morning, today i feel the burn my eyes are stinging :-( i plan to be in bed at 8pm tonight!! LOL

Todays Menu:
Breakfast: Granola with a petit filous
Snack: Hand full of Peanuts
Lunch: I fancy some soup today so i may go to the sandwich shop today
Dinner:Im not sure yet, ive been staying at my friends all weekend and im returning home tonight so ill cook something when i get home.

I plan to have some Milk, NAS Squash and proberly a milky coffee.

How long ago did you have ur surgery mine due a week today and I'm worrying about food what I can and can't eat, what might go wrong. I'm excited but scared. You sound like you ate doing very well. How long did u take off work, I work in extra care and also have so much paper work to do and very challenging at times good luck x

I had my surgery 12 weeks ago, ive lost almost 5 stone. Once you have had your operation your provider will give you all the information about what food you can and cant eat, i am now aware that all hospitals are different, i was on 2 weeks liquid, 2 weeks puree, 2 weeks lumpy, then solids. My operation went swimmingly, i had no pain from the moment i came out of theatre and i felt pretty well almost straight away. My job is also really active, i work in a day nursery and we also have tons of paper work and running after one under 4 is not easy let alone the 40+ we have. i returned to work after 3 weeks, im only currently taking a daily multi vitamin and i have been told i will be given all my other supplements needed at my 6 month check with my surgeon. That said, every body is completly different and some take a little longer to recover and return to work so its very hard to say, everyone will all be able to tell you there experiance but you may not be the same as them.

I wish you all the very best in your surgery and we shall make room for you on the loser's bench for your all re routed!!
