Been back onto latte's the last few days as have been off my face with the gastritis pain. Drove for 2 hours yesterday & sat in car for another 6, nooooo way, vomiting, fainting, dizzy, agony.

New start today still hot milk but intend to eat 200g of prawns today, my apple which is still waiting for me and hopefully a teaspoon of refried beans. And half a pharmacy :(

Decided to have a liquid day, as I had a very upset stomach yesterday. So having Atkins shake for breakfast and lunch, having a latte now, and some milk for a snack, with possibly a tinned soup for tea.

900 cals

On day 3 of eating 1200-1300 kcals, and surprise surprise I feel a hell of a lot more energetic! Always think that this journey is in part about learning to listen to my body, So I'm listening, and its telling me that 900-1000 isn't enough for me (I've just done it for about 6 weeks). I just worry (like most of us do) that my weight-loss will stop way before I want it too, and I'm feeling a bit frustrated with my scales at the moment. Guess I have to accept that I'm over 6 months out now, and lost a good amount, so it will slow. I still want to lose at least another 4 1/2 stone, so its may take a while at this rate!

B: Protein shake, 2 cocktail sausages.
S: Cheese dipper.
L: Cold meats with crackers.
S: 1/2 chicken breast.
D: 1/4 oven pizza and salad.
S: Glass milk.

This has been the most amazing epiphany for me - learning that my body actually talks to me. That actually, if I've got head hunger, its because I've gotten something wrong that day, whether its that I was too restricted for a good breakfast (like today) or that I wasn't remotely hungry and didn't need all my allowances (like yesterday). And learning to listen to my body is what has kept my losses moving (not to mention keeping me sane)

I totally agree. My head hunger prone days still have a fair amount to do with my psychology (ie giving myself permission to indulge). BUT they almost always start on days where I have more sugar and less protein in my diet.
I have to try and learn not to give myself a pat on my back when I eat below my target, and beat myself up when I eat above it though. Have to remind myself that we live a normal life.

I had that today. We did legoland. I took healthy snacks, planned it in. But it was HOT there. So I had cold drinks, and I don't have fizzy so it only left the slushies or water. And I had an icecream. Ate the healthy stuff for proper food, but then Ithought isn't it okay as a one off? And ultimately yes it is. Because it definitely isn't normal for me to go to a themepark, let alone have icecream and slushies. And I won't do it again tomorrow.

I had a take away last night because I didn't feel up to cooking as I'm ill, I was still within my set calories but sometimes I have head hunger days and go over my calories. I think it's fine, as long it's not a habit I do think it is ok to have days that aren't always clean. You still have to live. Having said that I really did want to get under 12 stone by my birthday in 13 days! fingers crossed.

Menu today -
Breakfast - 2 Ryvita, 1 with lf feta, 1 with lf pate.
Lunch - 2 Ryvita, 1 with turkey. 1 with king prawns and tuna.
Dinner - Chicken with garlic, carrots and green beans.
Snack - Ice lolly. Pineapple.

I think its about enjoying this chance we've been given. I'm no less determined to lose, but I've accepted that it doesn't need to all happen within a two year time limit.

This is what my intake has been for a fair while now. I just don't seem to lose at all under 1200 calories. It's slow now, but at least it moves so I've decided that's a good thing! Glad you're feeling much better and you've found the right balance. Keep going x

Happy to report that I had my first blood test results today, and all fine, Borderline VitD deficient, but that's easy to fix. My B12 level is on the high side of normal which is great (so no jabs needed for quite a while), and my iron is slap bang in the middle. So pleased as punch.
