Ohh Fjsinc that is my special resting weight. Now that it has plateaud that is my weight I am trying to stay at. It did get as far down as 14st 5lb but it went back up again back to 14 st 11. That is where it is guna stay. I am feeling very tired today. I could not keep my eyes open and went to bed at 5.25pm I got up at 9.30pm I am guna have half an hour then going back to bed have 2 full days at work to get through before Christmas and was in night shift lastnight, but we do get to sleep. WE HAD A LITTLE Christmas CELEBRATION WITH OUR CLIENTS ONLY 5 THERE others were out of the project, some don't like to have fun they think fun has to do with alcohol or drugs. WE PLAYED GHUESS WHO WITH POST IT NOTES, I cut out a rein deers head stuck it on the door and played pin the nose on Rudolph hilarious, few Christmas sing songs and food then that was it. They did their own thing I even went dressed as Santa, gave them a little laugh. WE ARE ALLOWED TO SLEEP FROM 12 TIL 7AM BUT IT TAKES SOME WINDING DOWN AT 12 WHEN YOU GO TO THE SLEEP OVER ROOM. Like to do bit Sudoku then sleep but you can hear the room doors all fire doors and make a noise. So really always listening out even when snoozing just in case anything kicks off, they are 16-25's so often have a flare up. We are only expected to get up if there is a problem. I am hoping I can sleep when I go back to bed. Fingers crossed. xxxxx Happy Christmas hope everyone will be well and enjoy yourselves most of all remember if you really want something have the tiniest piece it may just suffice the craving. I like to think of it like this, our body takes what it can from our small diet hence eating healthy and taking vitamins. It is surviving on so little to what it used to it uses everything up to keep us moving and living each day our heating thermostat is last on the list so most times doesn't work. Does that make sense. xx:confused::cry:

I have to wear 2 pairs of socks now or my feet hurt with the cold.
My best friend is my hottie bottie love it to death..lol
 
Today's menu:

B: Ryvita with light Philadelphia and a tiny bit of honey.
L: one apple and one babybell light.
S: protein shake.
D: paella with mixed seafood.
Hope to have 102 biscuits or something else as a snack.
Drinks: water, fruit tea, cup of milk, maybe a glass of water down juice later.

Merry Christmas to you all, hope you all having fun its noice to have Christmas lunch n not feel stuffed to bursting point, had small bit of everything bar parsnips and have froze 2 dinner portions n have 1 for tomorrow was delicious. xx

I've found that MyFitnessPal is actually really good for logging what you've eaten. It has a massive database so you can add in all your foods and it counts calories for you. Also has a weight check in system to track your losses :) It's got a forum too - it's terribly addictive!
 
Very proud that I had mash, cauliflower cheese and some pork and apple casserole today! Felt like I had a 'proper' Christmas dinner, of sorts.

I'm a month post-op now and finding the desire to eat becomes less and less as time goes on. Does anyone else feel like this?

I seem to be the opposite. I love cooking and have been preparing lovely meals, yet when I sit down to eat I don't fancy it. Love watching the family at dinner time though! :) x
 
We tend to become feeders now rather than feed our selves watching others get fat instead of ourselves xx

Lol....my family certainly won't be getting fat, they are all fitness finatics! I think I've always been a feeder.....do you eat with your family or do you prefer to eat alone? I only ask because a couple of times I've really had to concentrate on what I'm doing, ie chewing, giving myself enough time between mouthfuls etc.....I wonder if eating would be easier on my own during a quiet time....? X
 
I was told by my dietician, and I agree with it, that you should eat with others if that is what you have always done. She told me to pace myself against them, because most people only spend 15-20 mins eating. And we shouldn't deprive ourselves of the social aspect of eating. Having said that, it takes a while to get the hang of it.
 
Sometimes I get to eat with my husband and obviously if he is at work then have to eat on my own so bit of both really, because he has more I still manage to finish after him which tells me I am eating at a sensible pace. At work its hard to guage we eat at our office desk or in the lounge with clients. x

Today i hit the sales in town, god im lethal buying clothes now....lol :

Yesterdays menu:

Breakfast:
Rice krispies and milk

Lunch:
Jacket potato with cheese and beans (cafe giardino's in town)

Snack:
Slices of home made honey roasted gammon

Dinner:
Turkey, half a stuffing ball, sprouts with bacon, carrots, peas, half a roast potato and gravy (leftovers)

Pudding:
I didn't have any pudding in xmas day as i was poorly so i had some last night instead
: a small piece of lemon cheesecake with double cream

Fluids: water, peppermint tea, i need to be better tomorrow with fluids!!

Merry Christmas.
Dreading getting weighed in morn. Have had company so been drinking and eating more, however my feeder instincts have been in overdrive!
I have been trying to avoid carbs as much, having protein but also had chocolate but in small chunks.
Anyway will post weight in morn and going to try and post menus in 2014 xxx
