Menu so far today

B WHOLEMEAL TOAST N 2 CHEESES SLICES
L 5 BUBBLE N SQUEAK ROUNDS(FROZEN) 3 WALLS SAUAGES ALL OVEN COOKED
D 3 SAUAGES LEFT FROM LUNCH, PEAR, GRAPES, BANANA
GUNA SPREA DIT OUT COS AM IN NIGHT SHIFT BOREDOM SET IN WILL BE LOOKING FOR FOOD SO TAKING FRUIT AND HAVE RYVITAS AT WORK AND LEMONCURD.

TEA AND COFFEE
 
Today's intake:

B - readybrek & almond milk (95)
L - 200ML pea & ham soup (95)
D - chicken swede, mayo (200)
S - laughing cow triangle 6 cherry toms (25)

Lots of nas ribena (about 1.5 litres)

Todays menu so far: B: 1 warby crumpet with melted cheese S: handful of cashews L: ritz crackers and brie cheese S: pack of crisps D: cracker breads with ham, cheese and cherry tomatoes

B: grapes and greek yogurt. Mini eat natural bar.
S: protein bar.
L: wholewheat wrap with pulled pork, cheese and salad.
D: lean beef bolognese with extra mushrooms and egg pasta.
S: 2 boiled eggs.
 
B: 1 tablespoon porridge & bit stewed apple
L: finger of cheese & 8 baby plum toms
D: half small chicken breast & sweetcorn
S: 8 grapes
 
B: 1 weetabix with skimmed milk and canderel
S: 1 glass low fat Greek yoghurt, skimmed milk and 1 banana smoothie (saved half for tomorrow)
L: 1/2salmon fillet and spinach mornay(2tbsp) mashed
Couldn't finish
D: 3tbsp roast pork and veg and gravy mashed
S: 1 options hot chocolate made with skimmed milk
1 litre NAS squash 3 cups of tea

How does this sound? I am 5 weeks post op and on mushy food
 
Hi how many calories should I be having im 5 weeks post op im just a little confused

Hi I was told not to count calories at that stage as you won't be able to eat enough to worry about it. As long as you stick to the correct foods you'll automatically eat the correct amount.
At about 9 months when the pouch has reach it's full size and all the swellings gone then you start to watch what you eat but at your stage don't worry.

D - 2 slices chicken breast, tablespoon swede, teaspoon xtralite mayo
S - 90cal yogurt

Going to take yogurt for brekki tomorrow :)

(My 1st daily bypass menu post - more chuffed with this than wat I've eaten lol)

NAS squash n coffee.

Breakfast - go ahead biscuits x 3 plus 2 babybel light
Snack - apple
Lunch - prawn and beet root salad
Snack - banana
Tea - chicken with pasta in chilli sauce
Wearing a "floaty" size 12 dress today. Am not a 12 really, it stretches ALOT but still secretly pleased!

So, yesterday I started to re-jig my menus...need more protein (of the wont kick start my gallstones variety!) and fewer carbs...we'll see how it goes...

B: Porridge
S: 2x small apples
L: mini babybell light, mini hummous, 4x crackers
S: W/W yogurt
D: Beef stew

Tea, tea, more tea, NAS squash and a latte

Seen my first proper drop on the scales for 5 weeks this morning. Only 1/2 lb, but I'm so thankful for it.

B: 1 egg, 4 slices wafer thin ham. Little sourdough.
S: 2 breakfast biscuits and 2 cheese triangles.
L: Cheese scone. Apple.
S: Slice corned beef and handful peanuts.
D: chicken and leek casserole with 1 dumpling.

Ate too much as was stressed and annoyed at work.
Breakfast - aldi go ahead biscuits x 3 plus banana
Snack - 2 babybel
Lunch - prawn and crab stock beet root salad
Then ate some prawn cocktail crisps due to being annoyed
Snack - pear and biscuits
Tea - 4 fish fingers and few fries
Snack. - skips
Snack - hot choc light

Far too much. Need to watch emotional eating and lay off crisps.
