Took kids swimming for an hour today, I did 15mins not stop widths and played the rest. Also bought a mountain bike today! Its been 10 yrs since I've been on one but what the hell lol.
Sounds good. I'd love to ride a bike again but I've never had good balance lol. Fat wise I put my setting so I can see the sat fat because our bodies need healthy fats so I allow myself around 27grams on fat a day but a max of 17g of sat fat so 30 isn't too bad at all.
shelleymarie said:Those number all sound good to me. Some people say we should go below 1200 calories but I find I can't eat more than around 800 a day but that isn't a sustainable amount of calories for long term nutrition so will up them later on when I've got a good amount of weight off if I can manage more, you should go with what is comfortable for you and probably why they tell us not to count calories as it does lead to worry. 80g's of protein is fantastic, the fat and carbs sound fine to me. We need healthy fats but watch out for saturated fat as that's the stuff that really clogs our arteries so I try to aim for less than 17g's of sat fat a day. Hope that's helps x
On another note my hair started falling out today, quite a lot in the shower. A couple of weeks early by what my provider said but then again if you factor in the pre op diet too... I'm going to make sure I hit my protein targets and try and increase my iron intake as well as just generally try to stay well rounded nutrition wise but has anyone got any more tips? I'm lucky I have thick hair to start with but I don't want it to get too thin
