bypass daily menu -

Lost 2 pounds this week. Seems to have really slowed down, although I know 2lb is still good I was getting use to losing it faster. I think an increase in exercise is probably what I need but finding that difficult at the moment as looking after my poorly mum who is currently bed bound so just seem to be cooking and cleaning and working at the mo, hopefully over the coming weeks she will get better and I can get back to swimming and join the gym :)

Breakfast - Branflakes and grapes.
Lunch - Ham salad with spinach, pickles and gherkins.
Dinner - Minted lamb kebab type things.
Snack - A small low sugar/cal ice lolly and crackers with lf pate/feta.
Drinks - water, tea and oj.

692 calories 44g protein

Hope everyone is well, glad you left off the coco-pops Ana! nutritional value about nil lol sushi much better but this early on you might find the sticky rice a bit hard going!

Breakfast - three melba toast, lf Philly with sliced grapes on top (yummy!!)
Lunch - remaining half of giant mutant Tesco chicken breast in tomato sauce and runner beans
Dinner - Tesco lighter choices chicken breast and sugar snaps
Snack - four crab sticks mid afternoon

Tea and water with NAS blackcurrant

OMG sounds like the menopause but guess it's dumping???

Hi chrisa does msbb mean m&s brown bread? Lol xxx

Amanda - use my logic - keep the fear of dumping until the weights off lol xx

I kid you not a colleague from another office who is a good friend has required a change of trousers AT WORK on more than one occasion due to not changing his eating habits.. pepperami, baby bell cheese, chocolate bars, subway sandwich ...why would you let that happen more than once?!!! That is why my menu shows basically noooo treats of such nature for me I would just die! He is losing weight yes (he was almost forty stones) but not in the healthiest of ways! And he's also running the risk of stretching his pouch or building up a tolerance to excessive amounts of sugar .. I am both fearful for him and happy about his weight loss too

I agree with you mayamoo... I think I am not even going to try anything yummy just in case I can tolerate it, I am just going to tell myself that I will dump on anything sweet or fatty. If I knew that I could tolerate some of my old favourites then heaven help me and my willpower!!!!
So scared to fail in this...

My approach isn't for everyone but I need time to break old bad habits and I dont want to feel poorly! I honestly don't really miss those types of food and on very rare occasions (like my sisters birthday) I literally have a teaspoon of something just for the taste and it seems to be enough xx

Yes was unsure if it is menopause or dumping right from the start after my op, its hard to tel but if its just upto an hour after eating i think its part of the dumping, but night time is menopausal, terrible hot sweats have been like this for almost 10 years now but it has got worse, but have not had a perion since last June so its worth it to do without them less to worry bout haha x:8855:

Hi chrisa does msbb mean m&s brown bread? Lol xxx
Its multi seeded brown bread, its sensations I get the small loaf the slices are tiny but feels good if i want to have 2 if it was the ordinary size could only have one its mind over matter, daft I know but there it is. Lovely bread with bits in x:D;)

I agree Mayamoo, best not to try them it was my biggest mistake doing it and unfortunately didnt have too much of a side effect but I am sure if i was to try that silly way again am sure it would give me a really bad dumping session, something which i have avoided uptil now, i do crave some foods and i have tried small amounts, yesterday was a no brainer and won't be repeating it, have just had my snack today of 1 carrot chopped up with pate as a dip very nice. The problem with all eating regimes is we come to a point where we think we are clever and thats when the problems arise, thats why I decided to post my bad eating yesterday cos I knew I had to be honest about what I had done yesterday so that I could get my mind firmly back on track. Thank you ladies and hope you cna learn from my silly day yesterday xx

At least you have the courage to write down your silly day Chrisa, and look at it and then just move on rather than beat yourself up.. I think that is a really good attitude to have xxx

Its the only attitude to have if we want to persevere suere as hell don't want t o go back to where i was xx
