Wowsers 5 1/4 lbs loss to report this week!!!!!

37 1/4lbs to go to hit my 150lbs loss target by my birthday!! Xx

Ohh and I've lost over eight stones now :D

That is absolutely fantastic! You inspire me to work harder :) x

I have made myself a little dip with xlf mayo, diced red pepper and garlic chopped up, to eat with 1/3 carrot cut up into batons, the rest I might eat later tonight if I feel like eating something. W hat do you all eat when you fancy something sweet?? What make Mayamoo is your sugar free dark chocolate, is it diabetic?? might have to get me some of that, really miss sweet things, its the crunch as well, tend to have a cracker or dry granola with acuppa. Have kept my self busy all day doing house work windows and making dinner, been out for a walk with my friend and her dog, but have been reading and this is when i want to have a cuppa n a biscuit, but am tryn to stay away from the sweet stuff, whatever I eat like that gives me hot flushes. The other evening I had a tiny piece of my dada 70th birthday cake was only sponge, an hour later I was sweating, dizzy, shaky, laid down til it passes then had to go in shower and change pjs, I was absolutely soaking wet my back, under the boobs, my legs, arms and you would have though I had wet myself the lisks of my legs were absolutely soaking. I presume this is part of the dumping, no bad tummy or diahorrhea, though. Guna have to be careful I am going away for 3 days to Scotland with my daughter, to Arrochar I think it is on a bus tour before i have to go back to school, uuggghhhhh. Don't want to be like that when I am away. xx

Breakfast - Branflakes and grapes
Lunch - Lf cheese and 2 ryvitas
Dinner - This will be steamed salmon and king prawn salad
Snacks - Small low sugar ice lolly.

I've noticed I've not felt as full with my same portions the last few days. I'm wondering if it's in my head or if that is a normal progression once you've really settled? It's hard to tell the difference to be honest. Any ideas?

The dumping sounds terrible Chrisa. My mum is a diabetic and has the occasional square of Thorntons diabetic chocolate. She says it's very nice. Not sure what the fat and calories are on it but I imagine the occasional square would be ok :)

Ladies you are all doing amazing, loving the menues! Amanda Hun, I havnt lost any weight yet either I'm getting really p off now with it but I'm hanging on to the words of those who say it will come off! Lol. 2 weeks post op tomorrow for me but surely all the fluids and gas would be out by now? So why the hell is it not coming off I even took my pups out for a long walk today, bloody shattered when I got home ( first time out really) so do you thing doing more of that will help? sorry to moan !!!!!! Xxx

I buy it from holland and barratt and its dark mint flavour - buy one get one half price at mo sugar and dairy free chop up n bang in freezer as its still calorific but a square with a cup of tea is lovely!

The problem with me is i am never hungry, just think should be eating, and fancy sweet stuff and missing crunching stuff, hence crackers, am not eating huge amounts still sticking to me small plate. i have only had 2 of the sweating episodes since my op so cant complain but have seen a pattern of hot flushes whensomething is sweet, but they are just like menpause flushes so could be bit of both. oh the joys xx

Sometimes I have a bigger appetite than others - incidentally my cals were a bit higher this week wondering if that boosted my loss??

sounds lovely might treat meself to some thanx xx;)

Daily walking now Dimond lots of water, plenty protein and regular small meals. Hope you are managing th etoilet cos that will keep your weight up if you havent been as well. xx It'll just drop down when you least expect it. I would get weighed just once a week maybe at Boots if you cna then you are not disappointed cos i know that most people cant resist the urge to get weighed everyday and then get disheartened. xx

Yeah you made me think, I have days I completely don't feel any hunger and others I do feel some so the last couple of days might not be a pattern, might just happen to be together. I'll see how it goes. I think you are right about calorie increase leading to a bigger loss. I've noticed a connection with that myself. I'm thinking upping and reducing calories in a pattern might keep the body guessing :)

Chrisa I'm the other way, since op Iv had the runs(sorry) starting to ease up now so can't even blame it on that. I havnt been weighed for a week now, well since I got out of hospital but I don't look any different. Might get weighed tomorrow. Fingers crossed lol. I must say I'm finding it very difficult to get 2 ltrs down every day blimey! If I I don't have the bottle in my hand I just forget! I'll update u tomorrow with my massive weight loss!!!!!!!!! Xxx

Chrisa what about those stick things which are a bit like a pretzel with a tiny bit of choc on (mikado??) About 11cals each I think they can't be that horrific plus with a brew u could take your time to nibble one or two?? ? Or why not get some plain breadsticks in and have with a teaspoon of choc Philly??? Xxx
