bypass daily menu -

Amanda you have posted on my threads about how impressed you are with my losses - I can eat masses. Not preop portions but I didn't have a single issue with food. I can eat a tea plate of food without issues in most cases but felt very much like you do now. It will work. I count myself lucky now as I am losing the weight but can still enjoy my food and eat a healthy balanced diet. As someone once said to me - dare to dream.

Well all what a day my old boss that wasn't so nice has not really spoken to me today I spoke to her and my other ex co worker today , the ex co spoke very short clipped reply but boss just spoke to someone else, my poor stomach has been in knotts before leaving home today, She did mumble something when i spoke again but never looked at me they then sta in the sam row as me n others and left a seat gap between me n ex boss, so that ship has definitely sailed. Think my new timetable is going to be ok, going to be a big change but will be better for me will be back out n about round school, might even get to go out on trips again. Seen all staff guna be working with n feeeln lot happier, but have to pass my old room every day, so I have kept the channels open even though not returned, but hey I know i have nothing to thank them for.
Todys menu, bosses head on a plate (sos jus joking) probably get indigestion. Think might be bit jealousy of my weightloss it started to go wrong when my journey started when I first looked into wls the got worse so let her get on with it.

Not much to eat today, need to put some more fruit in as snacks I think. Gave myself a good talking to about my food intake today so I must make sure I log my menu here to keep myself on track. I've had a really bad headache since Thursday which isn't helping either.

Sounds like it is jealousy Chrisa. I have a friend at work who has been nothing but supportive of my surgery but she has a terrible jealous streak, she was 17 stone but she lost 3 stone on lighter life. It slowly crept up to about 15 stone and then she got pregnant. Now she feels huge and little comments keep slipping out. Which is silly as I'm still at least 4 stone heavier than her but I think she is worried that I will get down below her and she will be bigger than me. I hope she doesn't let that get the better of her but I just ignore it. Like you say it's best to let them get on with it.

Nellyphant, I definitely think logging what you eat here helps, it has helped me lots :)

Saw the dietican today and she said I must eat more, especially carbs as I have so few and she thinks that's why I am getting the blackouts. She wants me to aim for 1000 cals a day now. Sounds a huge amount - I didn't reach 500 yesterday! She said adding two carb snacks like bread sticks with a dip should do help.

However, have failed miserably today at getting the calories up, only 661. Still it is a novel problem to have and not one that I have had to deal with before.

Lorna, I'm the same as you when it comes to calories, I usually range between 550 and 760 a day. I find I really can't eat more than that yet, we had our ops around the same time so maybe it will just take time to eat a bit more. I do try and have some carbs each day. I find Ryvitas go down well, they are nice with lf pate or houmous on top. I hope her advice helps sort out your black outs x

Oh spinning class Maya! I've heard that it can be extremely tough. How did you find it? It's a bit of a ambition of mine to go to one as last time I got fit I never had the nerve as I was still 17 stone and worried I wouldn't be able to keep up. Good for you :)

I've been doing spinning for about six weeks now and have done it before when I was much thinner and much fatter!! Go to a class if you feel up to it what have you got to lose!!
