I've lost 4lb this week which means I've hit my goal of losing 6 stone and being under 20 stone for my night out on Saturday. Very happy with that :D Will post menu later :) x

My my I dont know whats wrong with me. I feel like I am eating far too much! I feel hungry all the time and its not boredom because I have been non stop! My portion size is slowly creeping up and I'm snacking more too. It's almost like old habits are back just not as drastic. i am convinced I've stretched my pouch and am gonna mess everything up.
I've tried to concentrate on keeping my meals mainly protein and veg and snacks fruit but I have had 6 slices of bread this week (week including sat and sunday) biscuits, a pack of crisps and crackers!
Why oh why am I doing it!
I'm eating quicker and more without pain! It's scaring me because I dont want to go back to how I was before. I am so upset with myself:cry:

So far today
B - baked beans 1/4 tin, 1 rasher bacon 2 slices granary toast.
L - 100g turkey breast steaks dry fried. 1 large cup of salad, 1.5 tbs extra light salad cream. 1/2 pack WW bacon cornsnack crisps things
D - TBC
Snacks - 1 ryvita with light olive spread, 1 ryvita with phylli light, 1 sainsburys basics mueslie bar

Drinks - 2 glasses water - small- 1 cup of tea.
 
Well judging by that menu you have posted today ana RW you still aren't eating a heck of a lot!! And I am sure everyone goes through that fear of eating too much at one point or another in their journey.. Im only 4 weeks out of surgery and I feel like that.. But looking at your weight loss stats you are losing a really good amount every week!! So you must be doing something right xxxx
 
Thanks all am really pleased I lost today and can't wait to get into them 14's but i know my next stall is just waiting in the wings, well done Shelley hope you have a greta birthday night out you are doing so well. Ana need to start and plan what you can have then if you guna snack its there ready on hand I started that a couple of weeks back when I was starting to be silly, cut up a carrot 1 day and made a dip with garlic xlmayo, peppers cut up v small, was lovely snack that you had to chew and crunch well thats when you really feel like you have eaten something proper having to crunch things before swallowing. If its ready you can get it right away if its to make up thats when we go for the wrong stuff. You are doing so well, keep it up xx
 
Todays menu similar to yesterday-

1 toasted teacake, scraping of spread cuppa tea
S grapes
L 1pk of fridge raiders, ff shape yoghurt, 1 plum
S gluten free mini pckt of biscuits low in sugar
D corned beef, potato, carrots,onions-hot pot

water, tea
 
Your menu sounds really yummy Chrisa!! Especially the toasted teacake.... Must try one of those when I get a little further along xx
 
Breakfast - cornmeal porridge 40g
Lunch - three crabsticks, cuecumber, lf Philly, one radish, one rice cake
Dinner - half a morrisons nu me salmon and sweet potato cake, half a feta n olive salad with tangy dressing


Snack - 20g edamame beans

Bought a size 14 shirt tonight, it fits beautifully and bought some size 16 trousers (was only a 16 in dresses) measured myself to make sure I'd fit on Alton towers rides and I'm 43,32,44 so I have list A LOT of inches, v pleased :)
 
Thanks guys. I'm really happy I hit my target for this week. Got a feeling might not lose much this week though, I've got a lot of shifts to do at work and I don't eat well when working as I just forget to eat and eat something like a dairlylea dunker, which is fine but I lose better when I have a balance meal at lunch and dinner. Also with going out for a proper meal for the first time since my bypass sat (hence the reason I'm so excited lol) and going out with my dad for my actual birthday Wednesday so even if I make the best possible choices It won't be like normal this week. Oh well at least I get some exercise at work.

Anna - Try not to be so hard on yourself as I don't think it helps in the long run. Chrisa, of course, is right. Planning is the key, I plan everything I'm going to eat in a day the night before and I don't go off plan ever if I can help it. Cut down on the bread and crisps and you will be fine. I'm not sure how much you are drinking other days but if you increase your fluid you should be able to eat less through out the day. I fill myself up on tea and water :)

Mayamoo - That is brilliant news. I knew you would be fine for the rides, with measurements like those you are normal and at a size 16 you can shop anywhere! That's my dream, I'm obsessed with clothes but hate spending money in big shops. I can't wait to shop in Zara, Topshop, All saints etc So excited for you. You are going to have a great time at Alton Towers :D

Drinks - 1 litre Water - 1 litre NAS Squash - 2 green teas

Will weigh myself tomorrow, but I get the feeling that I won't have lost anything this week at all. But fingers crossed anyway..

Daft hubby did me 2 portions of chicken and have put it away for tomorrow with the mushy peas that were left thats tomorrows lunch sorted, less to worry bout haha xx

Tea, water, 2 wines tonight with diet lemonade xx enjoy xx

Well I weighed myself this friday morning, and I haven't lost not even an ounce!!! I was so disappointed and downhearted!! I just don't know what I am doing wrong!! And then I deliberately ate dry chunky chicken for Lunch, and I ate normally, it went down stayed down, and I honestly felt no restriction whatsoever. I am so concerned now, that I am going to phone the dietician on Monday, and ask her if this is normal, but whole thing has just got me down enormously now. No weight loss, and beginning to think NO Bypass either !!!
 
Amanda, I think you would benefit from reassurance from your team. Give them a call for a chat, tell them your concerns and I'm sure they will help. Good luck hun, try not to be disheartened. I'm sure it will all come right in the end.

Dinner - Home made lf chicken and veg curry. Staying at a friends and she is cooking for me. Which is lovely after having to cook all the time for me and my mum.

Hi everyone sorry I havnt been on for a couple of days. Menues are fantastic as usual and congratulations to all of the weight loss and inch loss.
Amanda darling like Shelley said you do need some reassurance off your team so please do ring them on Monday. Your menue seems fine to me. Are you measuring yourself because sometimes you lose inches instead of weight. Keep your chin up sweetie it will all happen before you know it.
Thank you for all the good wishes but I'm struggling like hell. Like Iv said before I get up and think right I'm going to have this and ............ But it just does not seem to happen. I think it's because Iv not returned to work yet and I'm not in a routine. I'm certainly not drinking enough. Last night I had a propper dumping experience, it was awful! My own stupid fault and I could kick myself. We were late eating last night well 7ish and hubby and girls decided to have a Chinese. I thought I would try a little bit of noodles as they were soft and input some BBQ sauce on which was also from the Chinese. I only had about 3 mouthfulls and I felt terrible. Had to run to the toilet, dry heaving, cold sweats, felt really dreadful also legs gave way and ended up on bathroom floor! I had to go straight to bed! I can honestly say never again will I allow this to happen to me. Felt ok when I woke up today butbreallybdid not want anything to eat, maybe subconsciously frightened to eat! So Iv only had 2 x glasses of milk and a little water today. About 7 ish I thoughtbid better eat so I had a little tin of spaghetti and sausages which went down fine and I did eat the full tin. Hope it wasn't too much for my pouch! Hubby and I are taking the girls to London tomorrow to see Lady Gaga so I'll have to be more prepared xxxx
