bypass daily menu -

My tummy still not good it is still painful, nutha 2 buscopan taken really painful comin and goin just above belly button defo wind its moving round could be something twisting possibly my bowel have ha dnuts today dunno if something is stuck hope it gives over soon had enuff now xx

Hi ya Emma, can't bear anything on it have been to bed and got back up just had cup of tea and piece of toast. trying to move through whatever is causing it. Hope eventually I gte back to bed am exhausted now x

It has just stopped now had 13 hrs of pain. BY 2 pm resorted to hot water bottle nutha 2 buscopan and 2 cocodamol could ly on my right side without too much discomfort but my hip was aching on my back front or left side pain horrendous, was spasming all time. Finally had couple of hours broken sleep got up at 7am so that I oculd ring docs for app. went upto get some clothes on let out big fart, pain gone for now so thing it has been blockage and wind altogether, bloody painful as well. But feeling much better now inside feel bruised and tad sore 3 days of buscopan and it will settle down. Thought I was off to hospital got my hubby up outa bed at 2am this morning he got me hot water bottle n tablets xx

Thank you am feeling much better am lone working in night shift tonight so pleased has settled bit pleased it wasn't last night not sure what I would have done Mark. I have took it easy with food today-

D CHEESE OMELETTES ASDAS FROZEN ONE GOTTA KEEP MY PROTEIN UP

TEA N COFFEE IF I NEED ANYTHING ABOUT 9PM MIGHT TRY SACHET OF PORRIDGE. sTART WORK AT 4PM WORK TILL 12 MIDNIGHT, SLEEP TILL 7AM THEN WORK TILL 9:30AM THEN HOME FINGERS X TUM BEHAVES ITSELF. bUSCOPAN ROUND THE CLOCK. aM EVEN TAKING MY HOT WATER BOTTLE JUST IN CASE NEED IT. only HAD THE CORNED BEEF COS WAS FEELING LETHARGIC WITH OUT PROTEIN, HARD WORK WHEN ITS LIKE THIS JUSYT FEELS SORE TODAY USUALLY LIKE THAT FOR FEW DAYS HENCE FEW DAYS ON BUSCOPAN TIL IT SETTLES DOWN. XX

Chrisa - did you have problems before your op with your tummy ?
Hubby has broke the scales by wetting them whilst having a bath. Feel gutted! Waiting till pay day to get some good ones. I weigh myself daily and feel lost.
Anyway-
Odd food day.
Breakfast - Rice Krispie cereal bar
Snack - banana
Lunch- aldi scotch egg! It was 2.30 and I needed something
Tea - chicken tikka and small naan
Snacks - aldi chocolate cornflake cake. Can't stop eating it.
Trying to save money by aldi shopping instead of tesco.

B. porridge
L. Baked fillet of cod, prawns and tbsp Philadelphia lightest (yuk!)
D. 1/2 baked potatoe, 1/3 tin baked beans and cheese.
S. petis filos large pot, 3 strawberries, 5 chunks of mango

Fluids. 2L nas ribena, 5 mugs herbal tea

As you know Chrisa,I get these type paIns all the time,at its worst a hot water bottle and buscopan/and another stomach tablet I have to ease these wind pains and bloating.
I have come to the conclusion it's going to be part and parcel of having a bypass and my intestines messed with,so I think it's going to be a life long thing I got to put up with.
I suppose its luck,and maybe we just got unlucky!..lol

Woah, it seems some of you are experiencing some discomfort... I hope you all get better soon.

Breakfast:
Cheese and onion toastie (no crust) wholemeal bread

Snack:
Watermelon

Lunch:
4 cracker breads with ham and some slices of cucumber
Fromage frais, grapes

Dinner:
4 chip shop chips and a little piece of cod

Snack:
1 lemon puff
Pack of walkers french fries

Today i am giving evidence in court for an incident that happened at my work its an open court and i have no idea what time i will be in or out so my eating may be out of sorts today, and tonight my lovely boyfriend is taking me out to dinner.

Still keeping it bland n easy really got my self a small egg custard reduced didn't eat pastry just the egg custard was lovely n just slid down without bother.

Still have some achy pain on left hand side bottom of rib cage, can feel where things have been blocked how people get back to what they used to eat I will never know they must be crippled doing it. Thankfully Emma I only have these bout every so often couldn't cope if I had them regular like you. I honestly though I was going to hospital the other night. xx

Bowl of Kellogg's clusters with Semi skimmed milk

Snack:
Pack of mini cheddars

Lunch:
Tomato soup and a slice of brown bread

Dinner:
Chicken satay
Prawn crackers

A protein shake.

Not enough protein or fruit and veg yesterday, which i had anticipated due to being in court ALL day!! There Cafe was terrible, full of chocs and crisps and general crap!! Never mind I'm back at work today so a better day!!

HI ALL thank you so much for the well wishes I seem to have these little episodes thank fully every few weeks/months, unlike poor Emma who has them regularly/often. I don't think I would cope very well enduring that often. I am lot better today have had a slice of wholemeal toast for my breakfast, guna try and have my fruit n veg today.

B toast, butter n marmalade just a scraping of each
S coffee n 1 Weetabix breakfast biscuit
L 2 EGG omelette with banana in, fresh pineapple for afters
D GUNA BE beef stew which we made last week and froze
S for night shift, activia yoghurt, tis fat free but means high in sugar will eat it in 2 sittings, have low fta custartd and s/f jelly if need to have anything else, also have crackers and low fat cheese triangles should I feel upto munching, its about 8pm when I will want to be eating stuff.
